Too much excitement

Yesterday evening, Ellie and I headed out to meet my dad for a late dinner of pho.  Keith's business trip to Westboro had been over-busy, so he was out of town an extra night.  Meeting dad for dinner would be a nice change from being around the house.  I drove Ellie to Pho 79 (our local favorite) and waited for my dad to show up.  About 10 minutes ( Read more... )

I think Ellie thought it was some sort of bizarre game. She's so good-tempered. I was so lucky. I also knew that if I got upset, Ellie was more likely to get upset. I was so tense, though. I started crying when we got home.

Ezra just doesn't like the car much, and if he were in and I were out and he could see me he'd be furious.

I know where you're coming from. Even as a kid I always did fine in situations (breaking my arm, being lost, that kind of thing) but as soon as I was home and all right I'd burst into tears.

Oh my goodness, I'm glad everything worked out well. I'll come over soon and tell you the story of my misadventure in my ordination process (i.e. the reason I had a horrible week last week). Love you (and Ellie too)!
