You can vote for me here. By the way, someone completely shuffled the membership of all the tribes between the time I posted this entry-- which is more or less entirely based on the membership / prior-week polling dynamic of my previous tribe-- and the time the polls for this week were set up. Thanks a lot, Gary.

*shakes head*

Good lord, Mr. Bidness... I suppose I would have done better if I had shaved off 900 or so words... this weeks entry is uber light... lets see how the theory holds up *grin*

(I never noticed, but Karl Rove DOES have a distracting neck flap, doesn't he?)

Loved this... laughed my ass off!

If the Rev's theory is actually right on, at over 1800 words myself, I'm obviously toast. idol_hans should do quite well, though.

Note to self for later life: a good neck-flap = distraction = successful avoidance of federal prison on charges of treason.

I'm a big fan of statistics. They are awesome.

I'm not a big fan of Disintegration, though...it is like the Cure's Green...the point where they stopped being nearly as interesting...

Sure, I always liked The Top and Murmur the best. But the no-longer-interesting cutoff thresholds for me, personally, are Wish and Monster, respectively.

"The bottom six entrants in the race-- at least, the bottom six who left their entries up for further analysis, as both [info]gypsy_moon and [info]changed_4good removed their entries following the polling-- these entrants all posted entries having an average length of 435.33 words.

Mine was 440 words. So the stats don't lie!

Fun and funny post. :) Good luck!

Yep. I'd read it, enjoyed it, knew it was about that long, and then went back to find I couldn't prove it. The high quality of your entry vs. the undeservedly lousy showing in that week's polling was, I'm sure, one factor in the Rev's decision that this had more to do with length than content, at least at this stage.

Thanks for that. At least I don't feel so badly now having come so close to being eliminated. I can just blame it on length rather than being a crap writer. :D

I hope you don't mind that I've added you. Meant to last season, and I never got around to it, so figured I should get in early this season.
