[Dean pulls the Impala to a screeching halt in the parking lot, opening the driver's door and hitting asphalt about the time Sam does. Sam's thinking punch, Dean's thinking hug and some back patting to make sure Lazslo really filled his part of the deal.]

[Sam's definitely thinking punch, but then there are arms wrapped around him and the anger just kind of temporarily peels away into "goddammit, I hate this guy but he loves me" and then he's hugging right back, pressing his lips into a tight line. Just the Winchester Way, and this has to be the millionth time that Dean's sacrificed himself for him.

But the difference is that this time, he didn't want it. Sure, he didn't want Dean to sell his soul to bring him back the first time, but this is different. Sam didn't want to be alive. So he claps his brother on the back before pulling away from him and doing his best not to freak right the fuck out.]
