Current Events
-The Military Special Agency NERV has been drawing criticism from several directions as of late, due to their extraordinarily high expenses and the slow pace at which the Angels have been invading Earth. The agency has not been shut down at this time, but unless the Angels reveal themselves to be a much greater threat than they have until now, NERV's future remains uncertain.
-The disappearances of several ships in the Bay of Bengal have been associated with multiple sightnings of a large serpent-like mechanical object in the sea. Leading experts are suggesting a high probability that it has something to do with the Human Erradication Army, more colloquially known as the Beastmen.
-Armed conflict has once again broken out in the country of Helmajistan in the middle-east. The motivations behind the fighting are varied and complex, and when it will abate again is anyone's guess.
EDF Announcements
-The Great Fox's hyperdrive was repaired, and it has left the Earth Sphere, taking Fox McCloud with it. He will be participating in no further missions.
-Setsuna Seiei, an agent of the group Celestial Being, is being detained at the EDF headquarters until top officials reach a decision regarding what to do with him.
-As a response to the increasing Digimon threat, the EDF has allied with the digital surveilance organization, Hypnos. Agent Yamaki Mitsuo will be working as a go-between between the two organizations.
Mission: Showdown in Tokyo
A mysterious Angel descends on Tokyo and begins drilling towards NERV's central dogma.
-This is a spontaneous mission, your character will not be aware of the mission until immediately before it starts, and thus cannot make any posts regarding it until after the mission is completed.
-The mission will take place sometime between Thursday, November 20th, and Monday, November 24th. To sign up for this mission, reply with the dates and times you are available.
-Characters from the following series are advised to participate in this mission:

Mission: Refrain
A group of suspected terrorists in Bangkok have been distributing a drug called Refrain. The origin point of the operation has been located, but is guarded by military-grade Knightmare Frames. The EDF will raid the headquarters and cease the distribution of the drug.
-This is a planned mission. your characters will be aware and will have time to react and respond in their journals.
-The mission will take place Saturday, November 15th, at 8:00 PM PST.
