Mission "Showdown in Tokyo" COMPLETE
The mission "Showdown in Toyko" was completed more or less successfully. Good job, everyone.

The base came under attack by a mysterious force also identifying themselves as the EDF of another world. Two mechs, one unidentified and one identified as a Gespenst Mk. III emerged from the flagship. The unidentified mech was commandeered by Kurtis, who turned on the EDF and attacked alongside his new comrades.
As the fight was going against them, a group of aerogaters led by an unidentified mech appeared. The man seemed to know Cobray Gordon, referring to him as "Ein." The mech attacked and almost destroyed Cobray's Gespenst, but Werkbau broke out of cryostasis and rescued him. Cobray beat back the attacker just in time for a new threat, this time an Angel to take the stage.
The Angel obliterated a good deal of the enemy forces and turned it's sights on the EDF forces, almost destroying Evangelion Unit 01 and killing it's pilot. A hasty retreat allowed the EDF to regroup and launch a counter-operation in which all pilots ran interference while Shinji Ikari sniped the Angel, with Shiro Amada acting as back-up defense.
The calculations were incorrect on the first pass, causing the first shot to miss. The Angel attacked Shiro, almost killing him before Shinji was able to fire a second shot, taking it down and ending the threat.
