I was. But... complications had arisen. Between one of my... 'predecessor's experimental weapons as well as an insurgent group - I've had to leave things in the hands of my aide.

[Cheng steps close and grabs hold of one of the bars, looking Canon in the eyes.]

Wang Ding Bang... we butted heads so many times. But I did not expect him to be capable of something like this.

Indeed. He was many things... headstrong and opinionated among them... but no one would have called him a traitor or rebel.

It is best to take him alive in any case. Bringing back a corpse will serve only to martyr him to his followers still in Gucun and drive them deeper. We need to know who else follows him.

Which begs the question just what else would they have looted.
