Zs1: As your little group is chilling on the dropship on the way to the little suburb site, Dan pops up to repeat your orders.
Zs1: Dan: "Alrighty guys, let's go over this again. "
Zs1: "1) We're to recover uhm... they're calling it an "artifact shard", from the area. "
Zs1: "2) Because of that "shard", some strange things have been going on in the area, which, is why we've been called in the first place."

Zs1: "Why do they always leave us to clean up?"
Shaun (SRW mod): Flynn: "probably cause no one's mad enough to do this but us."
Arach (SRW): "Ah…pattern recognition?"
Zs1: "And 3) Do not, under any circumstances, make direct physical contact with the "artifact shard". Touching it with a mobile suit or anything of the sort should be fine, but close contact with organic material is strictly prohibited."

Specs (SRW): PRIME shrugs. "We get results. We don't come with strings attached. We don't get paid nearly enough."
Liz (SRW): Hoshi: "We were getting paid?"
Zs1: Dan: "I can't recall mentioning anything about getting paid"
Zs1: Not that there isn't payment, but, you're surely not getting money in hand!
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Repairs and resupply funds come from somewhere, right...?
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Ah... sure..." Gen's still smarming from where Mad punched him in the groin.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour scoffs quietly in annoyance. He was hoping that he could easily swipe one of the shards so that he could could sell it. It'll take more effort now.
Arach (SRW): Yui glances at Gen. "…Are you hurt?"
Zs1: Dan: "Well, payment aside, any real questions that aren't about the meaning of life or "Can we go home?"
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Yeah... Mad has a good punch..."
Liz (SRW): Hoshi glances at Gen and places a hand on his shoulder. "I got your back. Don't worry."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai raises her hand. "Do we have any idea if there's going to be opposition?"
Arach (SRW): "…Really now…" And Yui seems to be deep in thought.
Zs1: Dan: "Well there's mention of some strange stuff going on so... I imagine so. When isn't there, honestly?"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai shrugs. "That's true. Nothing worth doing is ever unopposed."
Liz (SRW): "Well, whatever it is, we'll take care of it!"
Zs1: The drop ship approaches the landing point, leaving everyone to exit as you see fit. Decide your deployment formation, and prepare for TACTICS
Arach (SRW): Yui's going to go for back-row support with two attack drone squads and a shield drone squad.
Specs (SRW): PRIME yawns. "All right, gentlemen. Any ideas what they mean by "strange stuff"?"
Zs1: That was... facetious...
Zs1: Objective: Recover "artifact shard"
Shaun (SRW mod): Flynn is going to just slide down on a rope. Unmorphed. Like a boss. That and he needed to save power.
Liz (SRW): Hoshi: "...Usually it means either something's good gonna happen or we're about to be in for a world of hurt."
Specs (SRW): PRIME will chill in his machine and keep eyes on his radar, playing lookout.
Liz (SRW): She's just sitting there, Vitadriver wrapped around her belt and is twirling The Star card around in her fingers.
Zs1: Around, it's hard NOT to see what's going on, the blocks ahead are overrun with plantlife and... spider webs... It's pretty damn hectic, just from observation. Several things clearly stand out, especially the giant buts
Knux (SRW): For the moment, Gen's prepared, Fourze Driver on his waist and the Magic Hand switch set up.

Knux (SRW): Gen: "...I think we found the place!"
Shaun (SRW mod): Flynn takes one look at the spiders. "NOPE!"
Arach (SRW): "Well, this is new."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "This... sure seems like 'weird'. I'm inclined to agree."
*** Specs (SRW) has left the conversation.
Liz (SRW): ...Did Hoshi forget to mention she had a fear of bugs? Specifically spiders? Nope? Well, she's just gonna...go over here and try to not look at the creepy crawlies.
Zs1: Initative: (Yui, Jukai, Flynn, Gentaro, Seymour, Hoshi, PRIME)
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour: Interesting. I wonder what it takes to have this kind of effect on an environment.
Zs1: (how many of you are NOT on foot...?)
Tenebro (SRW): (I'm on a dragon. Does that count?)
Arach (SRW): *Yui's just sitting on one of her attack drones. She lets the shield ones float out towards the monsters, so they'll be ready to cover for front-line combatants, and keeps her attack drones near the back while they all open fire on one of the bees.+

Zs1: [Gentaro, Seymour] Even though you've not made a move against the creatures, it makes the first move, whipping out crazy barbed vines at the two of you (react)
Salsa (SRW): *Jukai looks out at the battlefield. "That's... a lot of bugs. Guess I'd better get to work!" She skips the incantation and waves her hand to bring forth one of her shooting-type robots, which proceeds to raise its arm cannon and takes a shot at one of the bees!+
Knux (SRW): Gen: "WOAH!" *Gen makes a rolling dive to the side, hoping to dodge the vines before slapping the switches to set up a henshin+
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour has his dragon fly into the air while firing bursts of energy to vaporize the vines as they get close.+
Zs1: [Gentaro] It's just a graze on the arm, but it's still a hit that's going to hurt in the morning. Henshin successful
[Seymour] The vines come short from contact, leaving you safe, for now.

Salsa (SRW): (Oops, sorry! Already posted a bit ago.)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "UCHUU KITAAAAAOW!" First the groin, now his arm. This is NOT his day.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour: You know, I usually have people to take care of yard work like this.
Zs1: [Yui] The bees flit about as they do, and shooting at them only proves to tick them off, as bees do. All three waste little time moving to swarm Yui sitting back on her drones (react)
[Jukai] All the same, they're flitting about, but now they're making a...beeline for Yui. Only one of them gets even a limb blown off!
Arach (SRW): *My god! Bees! Yui refocuses her drones towards the bees now heading towards her. pew pew pew.+
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "Yui! Be careful...!"
Salsa (SRW): She's working out getting over there, but there's kinda stuff in the way she's a little busy to deal with.
Arach (SRW): "Roger."
Zs1: [Yui] The bees take a couple pot shots but, they're exoskeleton has toughened them up quite a bit! One of those bees manages to stab it's stinger THROUGH the drones, while the others whiff on by!
Zs1: (Flynn, Gentaro; henshin?)
Knux (SRW): (Oops, already did so with that hit. Aw, well. Time for the fight XD;)
Zs1: (I know, it was just a thing to say!)
Arach (SRW): *Well that just won't do. Yui and her remaining drones fall back and open fire, while she has the damaged one self-destruct.+
Shaun (SRW mod): *Flynn did what he did best. He made specifically sure to charge this thing. Or as it were, overcharge it. Flipping overhead and landing in front of a group of enemies, this was burst infinity people. "RPM! GET IN GEAR!" Knux (SRW): Gen: "Alright, time for some trimming!" *flipping the Rocket switch on and replacing Launcher with Chainsaw and activating it, Gen races towards one of the monster trees, slashing at it with its natural enemy - cutting tools!+
Zs1: [Flynn] That explosion sets off the strange plant-like dogs into a panic, bringing their attention down to the Ranger on duty! 2 massive dogs (by comparison) come to pounce (react)
Liz (SRW): *Hoshi? Well, she's going to get into a clear area and scan her card through her belt, her fists hitting her sides as her henshin began! "HENSHIN!" Soon to stand in her place was Vita's armor,
Liz (SRW): and as she scanned her High Priestess card, she was nothing but a blur. Soon, she went for her sword and went high into the skies!+
Zs1: [Yui] As the drone explodes, it takes the stinger and the abdomen with it, the bee whizzing around insanely
Shaun (SRW mod): *"Turbo Cannon!" Whipping around he fired blasts right into the dogs maws repeatedly.+ "Come get some!"
Zs1: [Gentaro] The tree whips it's vines back and forth, flailing them madly in order to get a hook on the Rider. It's attempt to grasp the chainsaw gets it cut, but another grasps the rocket, jerking the Rider about (react)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "GAH! You wanna swing me around? Just try it!" *And Gen's going to kick up the rocket boost a notch to counter the jerking.+
Zs1: [Flynn] And get some they do! Charging in, they catch mouthfulls of canon fire, but only one seems to go down, leaving the other to trample over the Ranger
Shaun (SRW mod): "Ach gerrof there!"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai sweatdrops. "This doesn't look like it's going well... Actually, why am I still on the ground? Sunbeam, converge!" And without a second thought she hops on a hoverboard, rising off the ground just a bit.
Arach (SRW): "…Well then."
Zs1: [Gentaro] The tension goes full on the vine in question, forcing it taught, but for now, he's still in grip, the rest of the spiked vines as they lash out just out of range
Zs1: (Seymour, Hoshi, PRIME)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Stupid...!"
Specs (SRW): PRIME looks up from what appears to be some kind of magazine. "Oh hey, enemies. Organics, from the looks of things...no wonder my radar missed them."
Specs (SRW): The Reinheit dives into the fray, going after the dog-morph targetting Flynn with a thruster-powered shoulder tackle! And keep in mind, there's a gatling gun on that shoulder, too, already starting to rev up for some point-blank shots!+
Liz (SRW): *Okay, she could do this. She could fight against giant, monstrous bugs no problem. Right. Okay. Hoshi first scans The Magician to give her a sharp increase in her stats and then The Hierophant
Liz (SRW): to give her more information about the monsters in full. THEN, just to get things started, she'll fire off a flame blast into one of the trees thanks to The Sun being used.+
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour looks over the area. "What a horrible garden. I can't stand the sight of it." Seymour snaps his fingers. "Get rid of it." His dragon charges up a massive amount of energy before firing at the ground and moved its' head to have the beam rip through the area.+
Zs1: [PRIME] The tackle is a successful hit, but the sort of softness to the plant-dog gets the gun jammed INSIDE the beast! The rotation of the barrels simply bores a hole into it's side.
Specs (SRW): PRIME responds by firing ze gun, naturally.
Zs1: [Hoshi] The scan doesn't provide too much, except for one massive abnormality inside the tame looking pitcher plant further away. As one fo the trees is set ablaze, it releases Gentaro. In the meantime a spider creeps down from the walls before, unlike how spiders really work, spitting webbing at Hoshi! (react)
Knux (SRW): # (Hoshi)
Zs1: (Kay)
Knux (SRW): *With Gen freed from the vine, he races around, catching sight of the spider. "Sorry, not on the menu!" And with that, he races towards the spider, entending on impaling it with the chainsaw blade!+
Zs1: [Seymour] The dragon causes a mess through the plants and the buildings. IT even blazes through one of the trees, cutting it in half horizontally! However the heavily wounded bee whizzes by, coming up behind Seymour and his dragon! (react)
Liz (SRW): "Ihatespiders, I hate spiders - I HATE SPIDERS!" *Hoshi's cape reacts on her fear and protectively wraps itself around her, shielding her from the webbing. Although, she'll look up at Gen and wave nervously behind her shield.+
Specs (SRW): # Seymour
Arach (SRW): "…Well, you're going to have to live with that for today."
Zs1: [Gentaro] It's no problem at all cutting that chainsaw through it's face, leaving it dead on the street. But, this leaves Yui locks up in her cape and that goopy webbing!
Zs1: (approved)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Ah... oops."
Zs1: (NOT Yui, Hoshi)
Specs (SRW): The bee will have to contend with a nice, tasty grenade to the abdomen. Seymour will have to contend with the cost of ammo wasted saving him.+
Liz (SRW): "Gee, thanks. I hadn't noticed that." Someone's grumpy today. And she'll just stand there and try to pick off the webbing with her free arm.
Tenebro (SRW): Not the bees! Not the bees! Seymour sees it and holds on tight to his dragon as it manuevers to dodge and get to the side of the bee before swinging its' tail to throw the bee into the grenade.+
Zs1: [PRIME] Splat! Seymour, gets nice and splattered with bee guts... coating him and his dragon in ick. Enjoy.
Specs (SRW): PRIME smiles behind his shades. Not like he meant to do that or nothing.
Zs1: (Yui, Jukai)
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour: ...That was a $15,000 suit...I'll send you the bill.
Arach (SRW): *Well, now she's got her choice of targets again, so the five remaining attack drones focus their red lasers on the spider-specifically, it's eyes.+
Salsa (SRW): *"Get over it already! Better your suit than your life, right?" Jukai takes off into the air, light appearing in her hands. "Dawnblade, shine!" The sword converges and she takes off after the bees. "Hey! Pick on someone... well, not your own size, I guess, but that can fight back!" If she can get close enough, she's going to take a big swing at one! For that matter, her summon fires on the spider Yui's shooting at if it can get a clear shot.+
Zs1: [Yui] Focused on a not face-split spider, the lasers pierce through the monster's eyes, blinding it... mostly. Writhing around, it stabs it's limbs at whatever might be nearby... which isn't a whole lot... until it's leg explodes, flipping it over.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: That was a $20,000 explosive round. My people will contact yours.
Zs1: ???: "I"m walking over here! Watch where you're stickin those things!"
Arach (SRW): "…I didn't do that..."
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour just looks at PRIME and scoffs. "I guess I break open my little bitty piggy bank for you as soon as you get my suit clean."
Liz (SRW): Hoshi sighs and when she's removed enough goop from her suit with the use of her flames, she'll shake her head. "We can bitch and moan at each other later. Right now, we should focus on the terrible bugs."
Zs1: [Jukai] Chasing the bees, they turn and converge bringing themselves upon Jukai without hesitation! Though the sword manages to clip the wings of one, the other crashes it's stinger right into Jukai's side! (react)
Zs1: ???: "If you'd quit playing around, we could find things and leave."
There's a splash of blue, and the spider whos face was split open is now... UNSPLIT!

Salsa (SRW): *There's an energy shield to tank the hit from the other bee until she can bring the Dawnblade around to take a cleave at it.+
Liz (SRW): "...Those guys were at the school, right?" Hoshi asks Gen, her grip tightening on her sword.
Arach (SRW): "…There's no chance of you being friendly, is there?"
Zs1: [Jukai] Though it tries to get another stab in, it fails terribly, pulling away at the loss of one of it's limbs. It's wings remain in tact
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Yeah, they were! What are you two up to?!"
Specs (SRW): PRIME: ...what a couple of jokers....
Zs1: Gemini: "Juuuust business~ Why don't you go play with the doggie over there before you get in our way!"
[Gentaro] And just to emphasize her point, several cards fly from it's hand, exploding at the ground all around the Rider!
Knux (SRW): Gen: "WOAH!" *And Gen's going to try to push away from the explosions!+
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "I guess that answers the question, eh?"
Zs1: [Gentaro] You get away, fairly, but "Not so fast!" There's a red card stuck to your foot, that goes off right on the Chainsaw module!
Zs1: (Flynn, Gentaro)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "GAH! Oh, not again!" And he can just hear the complaints from trying to fix THAT one!
Shaun (SRW mod): *Flynn, already gotten up by now, fires several times into the attackers, aiming for the bouncing one with the cards. "All right, chew on this sucker."+
Knux (SRW): *Switching off and out different Switches, Gen sets up the Fire Switch and activates it, becoming Fire States. Aiming the Hea-Hackgun at Gemini, he fires out a gout of flames at the attacker+
Zs1: [Flynn] Conviently, the other steps into the way, even losing an arm in the attack. However, that doesn't last too long as water pours from the wound, and, restores the arm to where it once was! Is that all?"
Shaun (SRW mod): "Nope, but hey, thanks fer showin' me that. Appreciated."
Zs1: [Gentaro] The flames completely engulf poor Gemini, and she even explodes. "Noooope! Wrong one!" And the Rider gets a nice SHOVE in the back!
Zs1: (Seymour, Hoshi, PRIME)
Zs1: (Oh, as a reminder, Hoshi, during that scan, only one thing had a particular anomoly; the one plant that HASN"T moved. That giant Pitcher plant)
Liz (SRW): ( Got it. )
Knux (SRW): Gen: "ACK!" And Gen stumbles, trying to right himself.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour taps his foot in annoyance. "I am not amused. Let's just get this over with." Seymour's dragon roars in fury and launches a barrage of energy shots to rain down on every enemy possible.+
Liz (SRW): "Water..." +Hoshi taps her chin in thought and snaps her fingers once she has an idea as to what to do. She'll grab another card out of her pouch and scan it - that being her The Fool card.
Specs (SRW): PRIME shakes his head. He has his own issues to deal with...namely, looking back at the magazine he had been reading prior. "All right, how does this work...Reinheit, JUMP!" His machine pauses for a moment on the ground, before shooting straight up into the air, releasing a nice, suit-cleaning shockwave of air as he rushes past Seymour's Dragon at mach speeds. As he reaches the apex of his jump, the machine strikes a pose midair. "and to finish...Reinheit KICK!" And he rockets towards the tree, picking a large, immobile target for his landing.+
Liz (SRW): Before it has a chance to take effect on her, she'll form the energy into her hands and throw it at Gen.
"Use it well, Gentarou!"
Liz (SRW): She'll cheer and give him an enthusiastic thumbs up before she'll dash over, leaving copies of herself behind to confuse the Zodiarts as to where her body was before running over to the one
Liz (SRW): plant that hasn't moved in this skirmish - the pitcher plant. She begins with four strikes against the enemy, continuing to hit it with everything she got.
Zs1: [Seymour] The 'problem' with attacking everything is attacking everyone too! The dragon rains hell upon most enemies, picking off the wounded dog monster, but, leaving neigh everyone else in danger (Gentaro, Flynn, PRIME, react)
Gemini: "Hey! Watch all that stuff!
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Huh?" And Gen catches the card, blinking at it. Seems like Hoshi had an idea.
Specs (SRW): (PRIME should be airbourne during the attack.)
Zs1: (I see this now, redacted)
Zs1: [PRIME] With a tree that can't move, there's no 'evasion' stat to factor in. Every TON of the Reinheit comes crashing down on the partially broken tree, crushing it underfoot. It's still only a tree after all!
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Is that clean enough for you, your royal prissiness?
Liz (SRW): "Just think about what element you wanna change into against those guys and it'll happen! Maybe it'll give you a new switch in the proceess!"
Tenebro (SRW): Sadly for you PRIME, your manuever moved the gunk to make it worse. Seymour looks at his now gunked up self before looking at PRIME. "...$15,000 pants, $7,000 socks, $25,000 shoes...I'll send you the bill."
Zs1: [Hoshi] After the second strike, the plant opens up a bit, gushing out some thick, slimy fluid. The third strike splashes it around, soke rising from the blade as it starts to decintrigate!
Knux (SRW): Gen: "WOOP!" *And Gen's gonna have to move out of the way of Seymour's attack before he responds to Hoshi.+ "Right!"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai's having to swerve to get out of the way of the massive plant as it opens up and spits gunk out. "That's nasty...!"
Zs1: [Gentaro] Luckily you only take one hit to the back, but, you may proceed with the action I haven't seen you take yet!
Zs1: Neigh everything that that gunk from the plant touches starts to corrode, even the ground beneath it. The bud of the plant has started to tip forward too...
Specs (SRW): PRIME: ...so that's why it's called a pitcher plant...because it pours fluid.
Zs1: (But moving on also, Yui and Jukai, to action)
Arach (SRW): (enemy count)
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "Insightful. Guess I'll need to be a bit more careful when I attack it..."
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Okay, so... let's try this!" *Taking aim at Gemini again, he uses what Hoshi gave him for an interesting attempt to attack - blasting the Horoscope with a burst of AIR instead of fire, intending on freezing it+
Zs1: ((Enemies(red): Monster Pitcher Plant x1 Monster Tree x2 Monster dog plant x1
Monster Spider x2 Monster Bee x1
(yellow): Gemini, Aquarius
Arach (SRW): *well, that dog looks kind of gnarly. Yui sets her drones on it, bouncing their lasers off the flying shield drones to rain down on it from above.+
Salsa (SRW): *But after that musing, Jukai shrugs. "Oh, who am I kidding? I don't do careful." She flies in and shoves the Dawnblade deep into the pitcher plant and slams down on the pommelcap as she flies off. A few seconds later, the blade erupts into an explosion of light and ouch, Jukai herself flying some distance away to survey her handiwork. "Let's see..." Her summon takes a shot at the remaining bee.+
Zs1: [Yui] The dog monster scampers about, struglging to dodge things, but, it, eventually, falls victim to an array of reflected lasers, leaving minced dog plant laying about. But while she's so intently focused on that, the last bee comes from her blindside and jams it's stinger RIGHT into her back!
Arach (SRW): *"Gah!" Yui falls off her mount and goes falling a good 20 meters to the ground. There's a little crater and a small cloud of dust and everything.+
Zs1: [Gentaro] Being AIR has no visual component, much less cold air, Gemini takes a straight shot to the chest, staggering the Horoscope! But, unexpectedly, or perhaps quite, something explodes on Fourze's back! (react)
Arach (SRW): "…Ow."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai glances over to see how her summon was faring on its command... and finding that it was about to take the shot at the worst possible time. "No... no! STOP! Yui...!" Forget actually not getting shot at, she's suddenly racing over to survey the damage.
Zs1: [Jukai] Laying the sword into the plant, it immideately starts eating away at it. But before the blade falls away, it explodes, blowing the plant open, but, at the same time, that scatters gallons of it's contents everywhere.
Seriously, Everyone (React) Acid rain. Everyone.
Knux (SRW): *And Gen staggers from the explosion, wincing in pain... before noticing the acid rain. "Oh, not again..." And he's going to run from THAT.+
Arach (SRW): *Oh hey, it's rain. Who cares about rain-OH GOD WHAT
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour jumps off his dragon's back to have his dragon grab him and use its' body to guard him as his dragon bolts out of the area as fast as it can fly.+
Salsa (SRW): *Jukai has a briefest of moments to ponder the result of her action. Specifically: "Oh. Dammit." She throws her shield up to cover herself from the goop, remembering she was trying to worry about something below her and trying to expand the shield to protect Yui.+
Liz (SRW): Did you say run? No? Well, guess who is pretty much breaking the sound barrier by running at impossible speeds to dash away, but not before grabbing Gen and running out with him!
Arach (SRW): Yui only figures out what the stuff is after it starts coating her, and then she sends her shield drones to try to cover her from the rest.
Shaun (SRW mod): *Guys, Flynn's got this. Really. "ACTIVATING 10 SECOND TIME MANIPULATION BURST!" Okay, just walk away now, Time is now stopped for 10 seconds. Flynn will wisely move out of the way, pausing to pull some of the unarmored people out of the way.+
Specs (SRW): PRIME grimaces, checking the distance between him and his allies before flipping on his Primal Armor. Hopefully a barrier of radiation can evaporate the rain faster than it can evaporate his machine.
Specs (SRW): +
Zs1: [Gen/Hoshi] Though Gen gets a little rained on, it's not too detrimental before HOshi gets him the F* out of there.
[Seymour] Though YOU'RE safe, your poor dragon is certainly not! This is some strange corosize acid substance that... well, you're going ot make a rough landing!
[Jukai/Yui] Only barely does the shield hold up against the rain long enough. The two of you still get a slight drizzle that leaves a few burns and some noticable damage to your clothing.
[Flynn] Time stop... Totally safe from the radius of the rain
[PRIME] Luckily the Primal Armor outlasts the rain too, leaving the machine undamaged
[Monsters] All that rain and all them unprotected completely wipes out the enemies!
[Horoscopes] By the looks of it, neither of them remain either!
Zs1: At the end of it all, damaged factored for everyone and thing, there's something glittering in the pile of sludge that used to be the pitcher plant before it was blown to bits.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Ding. Objective found? *He'll be scanning that.*
Liz (SRW): Skidskidskid-- Once Hoshi has basically enacted The Flash in terms of getting the hell out of dodge, she's gonna make some nice marks into the ground as she puts on the brakes.
Salsa (SRW): Jukai hisses; the sound is fairly similar to the one her skin and clothes are making. "That really burns...! Yui, you okay down there?" The sparkling object catches her eye. "Y'know, this kinda reminds me of some kind of magical girl item... have to kill the thing and nearly die to get the shard of the amazingly powerful device..."
Arach (SRW): "…Yeah, I'm fine."
Arach (SRW): "A little bit, wet, but fine…" and Yui flicks some of the goop off of her.
Liz (SRW): "... You okay, bro -- er, I mean, Gentarou. Whoops."
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Singed, but I'm good..."
Liz (SRW): "I can heal you no problem."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai raises an eyebrow at Hoshi's slip but says nothing.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour walks back into the area...with a new suit on...The hell? He wasn't even gone a minute after he landed.
Zs1: Suddenly, because nothing can ever go smoothly for long, wired claw shoots out and grasps the shard, pulling it away to 'safety'
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "Hey, we earned that! Give it back!"
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Wh-hey!"
Arach (SRW): "…We were supposed to give it up, weren't we?"
Zs1: ???: "Object secured. Team A effectively cleared a path. Team B, evacuating."
Zs1: A small group of men in white HAZMAT suits make it clear they're present, one of them holding a metal cylinder with the "shard" secured inside.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: A thank you would be nice, I suppose.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Or covering the bill for repairs and resupply.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Both are good.
Zs1: In short order, they're loading into a van and peeling off. The van, of course, has seen MUCH better days as it speeds down the street.
Knux (SRW): Gen: "...so we did the heavy lifting and they took the credit. Greaaaaaat."
Liz (SRW): "...Anyone wanna bet that's gonna come back and bite us later?"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai frowns. "Doesn't everything this ship does?"
Zs1: Well, despite that it was totally just absconded with, it looks like the operation was a success!
Zs1: MISSION COMPLETE
Liz (SRW): "Come on, let's get you back." Hoshi slings Gen's arm over her neck and starts to fly back to the Chalice.
Salsa (SRW): Shaking her head, Jukai lands next to Yui. "Can you stand?"

Arach (SRW): Yui nods. "Yes, I'll be fine…the shield took the damage for me, thankfully."

Salsa (SRW): Jukai lets out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad... Come on, let's get back before something bad happens. Well, something worse, I guess."
Arach (SRW): "Yes, let's…My ride, or yours?"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai suits actions to words and creates another Sunbeam next to Yui. "Your choice, but here's one for you if you want it."
Arach (SRW): "Sure." And Yui hops aboard. Adventure~
Salsa (SRW): The girl smiles and leads the way back. Adventure!

Zs1: "2) Because of that "shard", some strange things have been going on in the area, which, is why we've been called in the first place."

Zs1: "Why do they always leave us to clean up?"
Shaun (SRW mod): Flynn: "probably cause no one's mad enough to do this but us."
Arach (SRW): "Ah…pattern recognition?"
Zs1: "And 3) Do not, under any circumstances, make direct physical contact with the "artifact shard". Touching it with a mobile suit or anything of the sort should be fine, but close contact with organic material is strictly prohibited."

Specs (SRW): PRIME shrugs. "We get results. We don't come with strings attached. We don't get paid nearly enough."
Liz (SRW): Hoshi: "We were getting paid?"
Zs1: Dan: "I can't recall mentioning anything about getting paid"
Zs1: Not that there isn't payment, but, you're surely not getting money in hand!
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Repairs and resupply funds come from somewhere, right...?
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Ah... sure..." Gen's still smarming from where Mad punched him in the groin.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour scoffs quietly in annoyance. He was hoping that he could easily swipe one of the shards so that he could could sell it. It'll take more effort now.
Arach (SRW): Yui glances at Gen. "…Are you hurt?"
Zs1: Dan: "Well, payment aside, any real questions that aren't about the meaning of life or "Can we go home?"
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Yeah... Mad has a good punch..."
Liz (SRW): Hoshi glances at Gen and places a hand on his shoulder. "I got your back. Don't worry."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai raises her hand. "Do we have any idea if there's going to be opposition?"
Arach (SRW): "…Really now…" And Yui seems to be deep in thought.
Zs1: Dan: "Well there's mention of some strange stuff going on so... I imagine so. When isn't there, honestly?"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai shrugs. "That's true. Nothing worth doing is ever unopposed."
Liz (SRW): "Well, whatever it is, we'll take care of it!"
Zs1: The drop ship approaches the landing point, leaving everyone to exit as you see fit. Decide your deployment formation, and prepare for TACTICS
Arach (SRW): Yui's going to go for back-row support with two attack drone squads and a shield drone squad.
Specs (SRW): PRIME yawns. "All right, gentlemen. Any ideas what they mean by "strange stuff"?"
Zs1: That was... facetious...
Zs1: Objective: Recover "artifact shard"
Shaun (SRW mod): Flynn is going to just slide down on a rope. Unmorphed. Like a boss. That and he needed to save power.
Liz (SRW): Hoshi: "...Usually it means either something's good gonna happen or we're about to be in for a world of hurt."
Specs (SRW): PRIME will chill in his machine and keep eyes on his radar, playing lookout.
Liz (SRW): She's just sitting there, Vitadriver wrapped around her belt and is twirling The Star card around in her fingers.
Zs1: Around, it's hard NOT to see what's going on, the blocks ahead are overrun with plantlife and... spider webs... It's pretty damn hectic, just from observation. Several things clearly stand out, especially the giant buts
Knux (SRW): For the moment, Gen's prepared, Fourze Driver on his waist and the Magic Hand switch set up.

Tenebro (SRW): Seymour: Interesting. I wonder what it takes to have this kind of effect on an environment.

Tenebro (SRW): (I'm on a dragon. Does that count?)
Arach (SRW): *Yui's just sitting on one of her attack drones. She lets the shield ones float out towards the monsters, so they'll be ready to cover for front-line combatants, and keeps her attack drones near the back while they all open fire on one of the bees.+

Zs1: [Gentaro, Seymour] Even though you've not made a move against the creatures, it makes the first move, whipping out crazy barbed vines at the two of you (react)
Salsa (SRW): *Jukai looks out at the battlefield. "That's... a lot of bugs. Guess I'd better get to work!" She skips the incantation and waves her hand to bring forth one of her shooting-type robots, which proceeds to raise its arm cannon and takes a shot at one of the bees!+
Knux (SRW): Gen: "WOAH!" *Gen makes a rolling dive to the side, hoping to dodge the vines before slapping the switches to set up a henshin+
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour has his dragon fly into the air while firing bursts of energy to vaporize the vines as they get close.+
Zs1: [Gentaro] It's just a graze on the arm, but it's still a hit that's going to hurt in the morning. Henshin successful
[Seymour] The vines come short from contact, leaving you safe, for now.

Knux (SRW): Gen: "UCHUU KITAAAAAOW!" First the groin, now his arm. This is NOT his day.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour: You know, I usually have people to take care of yard work like this.
Zs1: [Yui] The bees flit about as they do, and shooting at them only proves to tick them off, as bees do. All three waste little time moving to swarm Yui sitting back on her drones (react)
[Jukai] All the same, they're flitting about, but now they're making a...beeline for Yui. Only one of them gets even a limb blown off!
Arach (SRW): *My god! Bees! Yui refocuses her drones towards the bees now heading towards her. pew pew pew.+
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "Yui! Be careful...!"
Salsa (SRW): She's working out getting over there, but there's kinda stuff in the way she's a little busy to deal with.
Arach (SRW): "Roger."
Zs1: [Yui] The bees take a couple pot shots but, they're exoskeleton has toughened them up quite a bit! One of those bees manages to stab it's stinger THROUGH the drones, while the others whiff on by!
Zs1: (Flynn, Gentaro; henshin?)
Knux (SRW): (Oops, already did so with that hit. Aw, well. Time for the fight XD;)
Zs1: (I know, it was just a thing to say!)
Arach (SRW): *Well that just won't do. Yui and her remaining drones fall back and open fire, while she has the damaged one self-destruct.+
Shaun (SRW mod): *Flynn did what he did best. He made specifically sure to charge this thing. Or as it were, overcharge it. Flipping overhead and landing in front of a group of enemies, this was burst infinity people. "RPM! GET IN GEAR!" Knux (SRW): Gen: "Alright, time for some trimming!" *flipping the Rocket switch on and replacing Launcher with Chainsaw and activating it, Gen races towards one of the monster trees, slashing at it with its natural enemy - cutting tools!+
Zs1: [Flynn] That explosion sets off the strange plant-like dogs into a panic, bringing their attention down to the Ranger on duty! 2 massive dogs (by comparison) come to pounce (react)
Liz (SRW): *Hoshi? Well, she's going to get into a clear area and scan her card through her belt, her fists hitting her sides as her henshin began! "HENSHIN!" Soon to stand in her place was Vita's armor,
Liz (SRW): and as she scanned her High Priestess card, she was nothing but a blur. Soon, she went for her sword and went high into the skies!+
Zs1: [Yui] As the drone explodes, it takes the stinger and the abdomen with it, the bee whizzing around insanely
Shaun (SRW mod): *"Turbo Cannon!" Whipping around he fired blasts right into the dogs maws repeatedly.+ "Come get some!"
Zs1: [Gentaro] The tree whips it's vines back and forth, flailing them madly in order to get a hook on the Rider. It's attempt to grasp the chainsaw gets it cut, but another grasps the rocket, jerking the Rider about (react)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "GAH! You wanna swing me around? Just try it!" *And Gen's going to kick up the rocket boost a notch to counter the jerking.+
Zs1: [Flynn] And get some they do! Charging in, they catch mouthfulls of canon fire, but only one seems to go down, leaving the other to trample over the Ranger
Shaun (SRW mod): "Ach gerrof there!"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai sweatdrops. "This doesn't look like it's going well... Actually, why am I still on the ground? Sunbeam, converge!" And without a second thought she hops on a hoverboard, rising off the ground just a bit.
Arach (SRW): "…Well then."
Zs1: [Gentaro] The tension goes full on the vine in question, forcing it taught, but for now, he's still in grip, the rest of the spiked vines as they lash out just out of range
Zs1: (Seymour, Hoshi, PRIME)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Stupid...!"
Specs (SRW): PRIME looks up from what appears to be some kind of magazine. "Oh hey, enemies. Organics, from the looks of things...no wonder my radar missed them."
Specs (SRW): The Reinheit dives into the fray, going after the dog-morph targetting Flynn with a thruster-powered shoulder tackle! And keep in mind, there's a gatling gun on that shoulder, too, already starting to rev up for some point-blank shots!+
Liz (SRW): *Okay, she could do this. She could fight against giant, monstrous bugs no problem. Right. Okay. Hoshi first scans The Magician to give her a sharp increase in her stats and then The Hierophant
Liz (SRW): to give her more information about the monsters in full. THEN, just to get things started, she'll fire off a flame blast into one of the trees thanks to The Sun being used.+
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour looks over the area. "What a horrible garden. I can't stand the sight of it." Seymour snaps his fingers. "Get rid of it." His dragon charges up a massive amount of energy before firing at the ground and moved its' head to have the beam rip through the area.+
Zs1: [PRIME] The tackle is a successful hit, but the sort of softness to the plant-dog gets the gun jammed INSIDE the beast! The rotation of the barrels simply bores a hole into it's side.
Specs (SRW): PRIME responds by firing ze gun, naturally.
Zs1: [Hoshi] The scan doesn't provide too much, except for one massive abnormality inside the tame looking pitcher plant further away. As one fo the trees is set ablaze, it releases Gentaro. In the meantime a spider creeps down from the walls before, unlike how spiders really work, spitting webbing at Hoshi! (react)
Knux (SRW): # (Hoshi)
Zs1: (Kay)
Knux (SRW): *With Gen freed from the vine, he races around, catching sight of the spider. "Sorry, not on the menu!" And with that, he races towards the spider, entending on impaling it with the chainsaw blade!+
Zs1: [Seymour] The dragon causes a mess through the plants and the buildings. IT even blazes through one of the trees, cutting it in half horizontally! However the heavily wounded bee whizzes by, coming up behind Seymour and his dragon! (react)
Liz (SRW): "Ihatespiders, I hate spiders - I HATE SPIDERS!" *Hoshi's cape reacts on her fear and protectively wraps itself around her, shielding her from the webbing. Although, she'll look up at Gen and wave nervously behind her shield.+
Specs (SRW): # Seymour
Arach (SRW): "…Well, you're going to have to live with that for today."
Zs1: [Gentaro] It's no problem at all cutting that chainsaw through it's face, leaving it dead on the street. But, this leaves Yui locks up in her cape and that goopy webbing!
Zs1: (approved)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Ah... oops."
Zs1: (NOT Yui, Hoshi)
Specs (SRW): The bee will have to contend with a nice, tasty grenade to the abdomen. Seymour will have to contend with the cost of ammo wasted saving him.+
Liz (SRW): "Gee, thanks. I hadn't noticed that." Someone's grumpy today. And she'll just stand there and try to pick off the webbing with her free arm.
Tenebro (SRW): Not the bees! Not the bees! Seymour sees it and holds on tight to his dragon as it manuevers to dodge and get to the side of the bee before swinging its' tail to throw the bee into the grenade.+
Zs1: [PRIME] Splat! Seymour, gets nice and splattered with bee guts... coating him and his dragon in ick. Enjoy.
Specs (SRW): PRIME smiles behind his shades. Not like he meant to do that or nothing.
Zs1: (Yui, Jukai)
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour: ...That was a $15,000 suit...I'll send you the bill.
Arach (SRW): *Well, now she's got her choice of targets again, so the five remaining attack drones focus their red lasers on the spider-specifically, it's eyes.+
Salsa (SRW): *"Get over it already! Better your suit than your life, right?" Jukai takes off into the air, light appearing in her hands. "Dawnblade, shine!" The sword converges and she takes off after the bees. "Hey! Pick on someone... well, not your own size, I guess, but that can fight back!" If she can get close enough, she's going to take a big swing at one! For that matter, her summon fires on the spider Yui's shooting at if it can get a clear shot.+
Zs1: [Yui] Focused on a not face-split spider, the lasers pierce through the monster's eyes, blinding it... mostly. Writhing around, it stabs it's limbs at whatever might be nearby... which isn't a whole lot... until it's leg explodes, flipping it over.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: That was a $20,000 explosive round. My people will contact yours.
Zs1: ???: "I"m walking over here! Watch where you're stickin those things!"
Arach (SRW): "…I didn't do that..."
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour just looks at PRIME and scoffs. "I guess I break open my little bitty piggy bank for you as soon as you get my suit clean."
Liz (SRW): Hoshi sighs and when she's removed enough goop from her suit with the use of her flames, she'll shake her head. "We can bitch and moan at each other later. Right now, we should focus on the terrible bugs."
Zs1: [Jukai] Chasing the bees, they turn and converge bringing themselves upon Jukai without hesitation! Though the sword manages to clip the wings of one, the other crashes it's stinger right into Jukai's side! (react)
Zs1: ???: "If you'd quit playing around, we could find things and leave."
There's a splash of blue, and the spider whos face was split open is now... UNSPLIT!

Salsa (SRW): *There's an energy shield to tank the hit from the other bee until she can bring the Dawnblade around to take a cleave at it.+
Liz (SRW): "...Those guys were at the school, right?" Hoshi asks Gen, her grip tightening on her sword.
Arach (SRW): "…There's no chance of you being friendly, is there?"
Zs1: [Jukai] Though it tries to get another stab in, it fails terribly, pulling away at the loss of one of it's limbs. It's wings remain in tact
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Yeah, they were! What are you two up to?!"
Specs (SRW): PRIME: ...what a couple of jokers....
Zs1: Gemini: "Juuuust business~ Why don't you go play with the doggie over there before you get in our way!"
[Gentaro] And just to emphasize her point, several cards fly from it's hand, exploding at the ground all around the Rider!
Knux (SRW): Gen: "WOAH!" *And Gen's going to try to push away from the explosions!+
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "I guess that answers the question, eh?"
Zs1: [Gentaro] You get away, fairly, but "Not so fast!" There's a red card stuck to your foot, that goes off right on the Chainsaw module!
Zs1: (Flynn, Gentaro)
Knux (SRW): Gen: "GAH! Oh, not again!" And he can just hear the complaints from trying to fix THAT one!
Shaun (SRW mod): *Flynn, already gotten up by now, fires several times into the attackers, aiming for the bouncing one with the cards. "All right, chew on this sucker."+
Knux (SRW): *Switching off and out different Switches, Gen sets up the Fire Switch and activates it, becoming Fire States. Aiming the Hea-Hackgun at Gemini, he fires out a gout of flames at the attacker+
Zs1: [Flynn] Conviently, the other steps into the way, even losing an arm in the attack. However, that doesn't last too long as water pours from the wound, and, restores the arm to where it once was! Is that all?"
Shaun (SRW mod): "Nope, but hey, thanks fer showin' me that. Appreciated."
Zs1: [Gentaro] The flames completely engulf poor Gemini, and she even explodes. "Noooope! Wrong one!" And the Rider gets a nice SHOVE in the back!
Zs1: (Seymour, Hoshi, PRIME)
Zs1: (Oh, as a reminder, Hoshi, during that scan, only one thing had a particular anomoly; the one plant that HASN"T moved. That giant Pitcher plant)
Liz (SRW): ( Got it. )
Knux (SRW): Gen: "ACK!" And Gen stumbles, trying to right himself.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour taps his foot in annoyance. "I am not amused. Let's just get this over with." Seymour's dragon roars in fury and launches a barrage of energy shots to rain down on every enemy possible.+
Liz (SRW): "Water..." +Hoshi taps her chin in thought and snaps her fingers once she has an idea as to what to do. She'll grab another card out of her pouch and scan it - that being her The Fool card.
Specs (SRW): PRIME shakes his head. He has his own issues to deal with...namely, looking back at the magazine he had been reading prior. "All right, how does this work...Reinheit, JUMP!" His machine pauses for a moment on the ground, before shooting straight up into the air, releasing a nice, suit-cleaning shockwave of air as he rushes past Seymour's Dragon at mach speeds. As he reaches the apex of his jump, the machine strikes a pose midair. "and to finish...Reinheit KICK!" And he rockets towards the tree, picking a large, immobile target for his landing.+
Liz (SRW): Before it has a chance to take effect on her, she'll form the energy into her hands and throw it at Gen.
"Use it well, Gentarou!"
Liz (SRW): She'll cheer and give him an enthusiastic thumbs up before she'll dash over, leaving copies of herself behind to confuse the Zodiarts as to where her body was before running over to the one
Liz (SRW): plant that hasn't moved in this skirmish - the pitcher plant. She begins with four strikes against the enemy, continuing to hit it with everything she got.
Zs1: [Seymour] The 'problem' with attacking everything is attacking everyone too! The dragon rains hell upon most enemies, picking off the wounded dog monster, but, leaving neigh everyone else in danger (Gentaro, Flynn, PRIME, react)
Gemini: "Hey! Watch all that stuff!
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Huh?" And Gen catches the card, blinking at it. Seems like Hoshi had an idea.
Specs (SRW): (PRIME should be airbourne during the attack.)
Zs1: (I see this now, redacted)
Zs1: [PRIME] With a tree that can't move, there's no 'evasion' stat to factor in. Every TON of the Reinheit comes crashing down on the partially broken tree, crushing it underfoot. It's still only a tree after all!
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Is that clean enough for you, your royal prissiness?
Liz (SRW): "Just think about what element you wanna change into against those guys and it'll happen! Maybe it'll give you a new switch in the proceess!"
Tenebro (SRW): Sadly for you PRIME, your manuever moved the gunk to make it worse. Seymour looks at his now gunked up self before looking at PRIME. "...$15,000 pants, $7,000 socks, $25,000 shoes...I'll send you the bill."
Zs1: [Hoshi] After the second strike, the plant opens up a bit, gushing out some thick, slimy fluid. The third strike splashes it around, soke rising from the blade as it starts to decintrigate!
Knux (SRW): Gen: "WOOP!" *And Gen's gonna have to move out of the way of Seymour's attack before he responds to Hoshi.+ "Right!"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai's having to swerve to get out of the way of the massive plant as it opens up and spits gunk out. "That's nasty...!"
Zs1: [Gentaro] Luckily you only take one hit to the back, but, you may proceed with the action I haven't seen you take yet!
Zs1: Neigh everything that that gunk from the plant touches starts to corrode, even the ground beneath it. The bud of the plant has started to tip forward too...
Specs (SRW): PRIME: ...so that's why it's called a pitcher plant...because it pours fluid.
Zs1: (But moving on also, Yui and Jukai, to action)
Arach (SRW): (enemy count)
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "Insightful. Guess I'll need to be a bit more careful when I attack it..."
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Okay, so... let's try this!" *Taking aim at Gemini again, he uses what Hoshi gave him for an interesting attempt to attack - blasting the Horoscope with a burst of AIR instead of fire, intending on freezing it+

Arach (SRW): *well, that dog looks kind of gnarly. Yui sets her drones on it, bouncing their lasers off the flying shield drones to rain down on it from above.+
Salsa (SRW): *But after that musing, Jukai shrugs. "Oh, who am I kidding? I don't do careful." She flies in and shoves the Dawnblade deep into the pitcher plant and slams down on the pommelcap as she flies off. A few seconds later, the blade erupts into an explosion of light and ouch, Jukai herself flying some distance away to survey her handiwork. "Let's see..." Her summon takes a shot at the remaining bee.+
Zs1: [Yui] The dog monster scampers about, struglging to dodge things, but, it, eventually, falls victim to an array of reflected lasers, leaving minced dog plant laying about. But while she's so intently focused on that, the last bee comes from her blindside and jams it's stinger RIGHT into her back!
Arach (SRW): *"Gah!" Yui falls off her mount and goes falling a good 20 meters to the ground. There's a little crater and a small cloud of dust and everything.+
Zs1: [Gentaro] Being AIR has no visual component, much less cold air, Gemini takes a straight shot to the chest, staggering the Horoscope! But, unexpectedly, or perhaps quite, something explodes on Fourze's back! (react)
Arach (SRW): "…Ow."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai glances over to see how her summon was faring on its command... and finding that it was about to take the shot at the worst possible time. "No... no! STOP! Yui...!" Forget actually not getting shot at, she's suddenly racing over to survey the damage.
Zs1: [Jukai] Laying the sword into the plant, it immideately starts eating away at it. But before the blade falls away, it explodes, blowing the plant open, but, at the same time, that scatters gallons of it's contents everywhere.
Seriously, Everyone (React) Acid rain. Everyone.
Knux (SRW): *And Gen staggers from the explosion, wincing in pain... before noticing the acid rain. "Oh, not again..." And he's going to run from THAT.+
Arach (SRW): *Oh hey, it's rain. Who cares about rain-OH GOD WHAT
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour jumps off his dragon's back to have his dragon grab him and use its' body to guard him as his dragon bolts out of the area as fast as it can fly.+
Salsa (SRW): *Jukai has a briefest of moments to ponder the result of her action. Specifically: "Oh. Dammit." She throws her shield up to cover herself from the goop, remembering she was trying to worry about something below her and trying to expand the shield to protect Yui.+
Liz (SRW): Did you say run? No? Well, guess who is pretty much breaking the sound barrier by running at impossible speeds to dash away, but not before grabbing Gen and running out with him!
Arach (SRW): Yui only figures out what the stuff is after it starts coating her, and then she sends her shield drones to try to cover her from the rest.
Shaun (SRW mod): *Guys, Flynn's got this. Really. "ACTIVATING 10 SECOND TIME MANIPULATION BURST!" Okay, just walk away now, Time is now stopped for 10 seconds. Flynn will wisely move out of the way, pausing to pull some of the unarmored people out of the way.+
Specs (SRW): PRIME grimaces, checking the distance between him and his allies before flipping on his Primal Armor. Hopefully a barrier of radiation can evaporate the rain faster than it can evaporate his machine.
Specs (SRW): +
Zs1: [Gen/Hoshi] Though Gen gets a little rained on, it's not too detrimental before HOshi gets him the F* out of there.
[Seymour] Though YOU'RE safe, your poor dragon is certainly not! This is some strange corosize acid substance that... well, you're going ot make a rough landing!
[Jukai/Yui] Only barely does the shield hold up against the rain long enough. The two of you still get a slight drizzle that leaves a few burns and some noticable damage to your clothing.
[Flynn] Time stop... Totally safe from the radius of the rain
[PRIME] Luckily the Primal Armor outlasts the rain too, leaving the machine undamaged
[Monsters] All that rain and all them unprotected completely wipes out the enemies!
[Horoscopes] By the looks of it, neither of them remain either!
Zs1: At the end of it all, damaged factored for everyone and thing, there's something glittering in the pile of sludge that used to be the pitcher plant before it was blown to bits.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Ding. Objective found? *He'll be scanning that.*
Liz (SRW): Skidskidskid-- Once Hoshi has basically enacted The Flash in terms of getting the hell out of dodge, she's gonna make some nice marks into the ground as she puts on the brakes.
Salsa (SRW): Jukai hisses; the sound is fairly similar to the one her skin and clothes are making. "That really burns...! Yui, you okay down there?" The sparkling object catches her eye. "Y'know, this kinda reminds me of some kind of magical girl item... have to kill the thing and nearly die to get the shard of the amazingly powerful device..."
Arach (SRW): "…Yeah, I'm fine."
Arach (SRW): "A little bit, wet, but fine…" and Yui flicks some of the goop off of her.
Liz (SRW): "... You okay, bro -- er, I mean, Gentarou. Whoops."
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Singed, but I'm good..."
Liz (SRW): "I can heal you no problem."
Salsa (SRW): Jukai raises an eyebrow at Hoshi's slip but says nothing.
Tenebro (SRW): Seymour walks back into the area...with a new suit on...The hell? He wasn't even gone a minute after he landed.
Zs1: Suddenly, because nothing can ever go smoothly for long, wired claw shoots out and grasps the shard, pulling it away to 'safety'
Salsa (SRW): Jukai: "Hey, we earned that! Give it back!"
Knux (SRW): Gen: "Wh-hey!"
Arach (SRW): "…We were supposed to give it up, weren't we?"
Zs1: ???: "Object secured. Team A effectively cleared a path. Team B, evacuating."
Zs1: A small group of men in white HAZMAT suits make it clear they're present, one of them holding a metal cylinder with the "shard" secured inside.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: A thank you would be nice, I suppose.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Or covering the bill for repairs and resupply.
Specs (SRW): PRIME: Both are good.
Zs1: In short order, they're loading into a van and peeling off. The van, of course, has seen MUCH better days as it speeds down the street.
Knux (SRW): Gen: "...so we did the heavy lifting and they took the credit. Greaaaaaat."
Liz (SRW): "...Anyone wanna bet that's gonna come back and bite us later?"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai frowns. "Doesn't everything this ship does?"
Zs1: Well, despite that it was totally just absconded with, it looks like the operation was a success!
Zs1: MISSION COMPLETE
Liz (SRW): "Come on, let's get you back." Hoshi slings Gen's arm over her neck and starts to fly back to the Chalice.
Salsa (SRW): Shaking her head, Jukai lands next to Yui. "Can you stand?"

Arach (SRW): Yui nods. "Yes, I'll be fine…the shield took the damage for me, thankfully."

Salsa (SRW): Jukai lets out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad... Come on, let's get back before something bad happens. Well, something worse, I guess."
Arach (SRW): "Yes, let's…My ride, or yours?"
Salsa (SRW): Jukai suits actions to words and creates another Sunbeam next to Yui. "Your choice, but here's one for you if you want it."
Arach (SRW): "Sure." And Yui hops aboard. Adventure~
Salsa (SRW): The girl smiles and leads the way back. Adventure!
