EricOverbringer (23:46:56): Kamina is hanging out in Arkham, shamelessly hitting on local girls
Shaun (23:47:02): Tsukasa's taking photographs non-stop. Something about the place is catching his eye.
EricOverbringer (23:47:17): That most of them seem a bit freaked out by him isn't slowing him down at all.
peter kampschroeder (23:47:43): Roads is busy visiting the research library at Miskatonic! Mmm, books...
VJockey (23:47:49): Vlaska's riding around on Samus' shoulder.... sadly he could not ride around on his hovering cat-throne. Both were upset.
Drascin (23:48:01): Samus was simply asked to be nearby "just in case". And that's just what she's doing, sitting atop a roof and keeping an eye around.
griefgathering (23:48:52): Nanoha is just playing a game of beanbags in the Chalice. No reason to get worried about things until the alarm sounds...

EricOverbringer (23:50:34): Kamina's head jerks around towards the alarm, then the Chalice.
Drascin (23:50:52): asshe speaks, she flashes and the Varia Suit appears on her
EricOverbringer (23:50:54): Oh yeah, he has that little communicator thing. He pops that out to see what the fuck
Tengusaur (23:51:03): Dan: "The bad news is that Demonbane is missing! We're already sending search parties to look for it!"
peter kampschroeder (23:51:19): Roads dumps the books and gets running to the nearest open area. "…Wait, what? Seriously, what?"
EricOverbringer (23:51:22): "Whatsa Demonbane?"
Tengusaur (23:51:31): Dan: "And the worse news is that the city is under attack by a giant robot! Move out quickly before it destroys everything!"
VJockey (23:51:39): Vlaska: ?? [Vlaska is now sitting confusedly on the Varia.] "Vlaska. go. get. Slava. now. yes?"
peter kampschroeder (23:51:41): "I'm pretty sure the first part is the worst part!"
Tengusaur (23:51:57): And at that moment, the ground shakes and an explosion can be heard in the distance.
Drascin (23:51:59): Samus: "Yes, Vlaska. Fighting is likely"
Shaun (23:52:26): Tsukasa sighs and suits up. At least he got a few good pictures here and there.
EricOverbringer (23:52:37): "Sorry girls, I'd love to stay and chat but manly duty calls." The girls are relieved
EricOverbringer (23:52:51): Kamina sprints off to get Gurren
griefgathering (23:52:51): Time to drop those beanbags. "Got it!" And Nanoha sets off for the deck, transforming as she runs!
peter kampschroeder (23:52:55): "Dan! Launch the Zweilicht at my position!"
Tengusaur (23:53:06): Dan: "Gotcha!"
Drascin (23:53:15): Samus is going to go on ahead and get a visual on that robot ASAP
VJockey (23:54:01): Vlaska: "Okay! Vlaska. Go. Fight." [And he's somehow managing to climb down the Varia and scampers off. Between places that only a cat can reach and moving pretty quickly - he's in the Slava and ready to go.]
Tengusaur (23:54:18): The robot is not hard to locate, because it towers over all the local buildings in the district it attacks. A district where barely any lights are lit.
Tengusaur (23:54:27): Also, it resembles a giant drumcan with 4 drills.
EricOverbringer (23:54:30): Gurren, in all it's squat, sunglassed glory, is ready to punch some dudes.

Shaun (23:55:08): KAMENRIDE: KIVA! "A bat for a... well, cylinder."
Tengusaur (23:55:17): That drumcan is 80 meters tall.
peter kampschroeder (23:55:23): And Roads takes a quick lift wire up to the Zweilicht's cockpit.
peter kampschroeder (23:55:28): "…What."
Tengusaur (23:56:23): If anyone gets closer to the robot, they can see that there are police barricades around, cordoning the district.
EricOverbringer (23:56:31): It points dramatically at the badguy, "Prepare yourself, you stupid tin can, for the bigass beatdown about to be unleashed by the Invincible Gurren Brigade!"
EricOverbringer (23:56:39): A metaphorical volcano erupts in the background
Tengusaur (23:56:41): The policemen look... Less panicked than you'd expect.
Mister Giggles (23:56:42): Casshern is allowed out of his cell. He places his helmet on, and removes his long coat. He takes a deep breath. He really, really doesn't want to kill anybody, and he has this sinking feeling that something bad is going to happen. "Alright... I'll go. Casshern, entering combat." It's heard over the radio. He's had a headset built into his helmet since then, to communicate with the others.
VJockey (23:57:03): Vlaska: [Has the Slava running at all fours towards the disturbance... the Slava - despite its ... human-ish shape is now sitting in a catlike way as it regards what its pilot seems to consider.... a giant cat toy.] ??? "Play?"
Tengusaur (23:57:06): Cop 1: "Yawn. Another robot attack. That's how many this month?"
Tengusaur (23:57:18): Cop 2: "Doesn't matter. Are the civilians evacuated yet?"
Tengusaur (23:57:38): Cop 1: "Should be. Yeah, I just got info they all cleared out safely."
Tengusaur (23:57:43): Cop 2: "Good!"
Tengusaur (23:57:53): The second policeman proceeds to fire at the giant robot with his machine gun.
Mister Giggles (23:58:08): Casshern: "They're... shooting at us?"
Tengusaur (23:58:40): Cop 1: "Oh hey, more robots. Come give us a hand with that big thing, will ya?"
griefgathering (23:58:50): Nanoha can't help but blink incredulously at that giant drumcan. Was this for real?
Tengusaur (23:58:51): (they're attacking the giant oil can)
Mister Giggles (23:58:56): (Never mind.)
Shaun (23:59:12): Tsukasa: "Seems like that's what we're meant to do right now."
Mister Giggles (23:59:15): Casshern: I can try. If the civilians are safe...
VJockey (23:59:16): Vlaska:....?? "But.. Vlaska. No. Have. Hands." [Its true...the Slava only has claws.]
peter kampschroeder (23:59:25): "Aye, aye." Roads zips on down some streets with his land spinners and gets set up behind the police barricade. "…This is a regular occurrence here?"
Drascin (23:59:27): Samus has gone clean over the barricade already and started going for the thing. If she paid attenton to policemen she wouldn't be in this business
Tengusaur (23:59:53): At this moment, a hatch opens at the very top of the giant drum can!
Tengusaur (23:59:59): And a tiny human figure can be seen!

EricOverbringer (00:01:56): Kamina: "Who the hell is Kurou? Pay attention to us!"

Drascin (00:04:33): And Samus is going to simply lift her cannon and shoot a burst of plasma straight at the man's head.

Drascin (00:04:43): Samus: "Stop it with the monologuing already"
Mister Giggles (00:04:46): Casshern resents that. He has no memory, it's not the knowledge.
Tengusaur (00:04:55): Seeing that someone aims at him, Dr West quickly hides inside the cockpit again!
Tengusaur (00:05:12): Dr West: "By the way. Shouldn't you make your appearance already, Robo Dragon?"
Tengusaur (00:05:40): ???: "I knew it was too much effort for you to learn my name, minion of the Black Lodge."
Tengusaur (00:06:27): A creature flies in and sits atop one of the nearby buildings! A creature that some of you might find very familiar, even if he wasn't robotic before!

Tengusaur (00:09:01): The robotic pterosaur flies up, avoiding the incoming energy shots.
Tengusaur (00:09:33): Ridley: "Remember the indignation you and your allies felt when they heard about the way I created my new elite troopers?"
Tengusaur (00:09:57): A group of large Space Pirates, the size of a small mech each, jumps from hiding, landing atop of nearby buildings and on the streets.
Tengusaur (00:10:01): Ridley: "I made more."

griefgathering (00:15:39): *Nanoha: "Let's start things quick! Axel Shooter --!" And Nanoha decides to support Samus, releasing an Axel Sphere barrage upon the Elite Pirates. "Shoot!"+
Drascin (00:16:06): *Samus looks around, immobile for a few seconds... and suddenly rushes forward at a blinding speed, reaching one of the Omega Pirates and shoving her arm cannon straight through its armor before letting a brutal discharge of supercharged dark barm into its innards. She's been studying the weakpoints of these things as much as Ridley has been studying her - or more+
Tengusaur (00:17:43): Nanoha's barrage knocks out one of the insectoid pirates. The creature falls on the floor, before its body suddenly spasms, letting out a burst of shocking electricity! (react)
Tengusaur (00:17:51): Ridley: "Suicide triggers. Very convenient."
Tengusaur (00:18:39): Samus's energy blast blows right through the Space Pirate, disintegrating the creature. But three more target her, firing powerful plasma blasts from their shoulder cannons! (react)
Tengusaur (00:18:45): (Casshern, Tsukasa, Roads)
Shaun (00:19:24): Tsukasa: "Lovely, they shock when they die. That's... lovely."
Mister Giggles (00:20:26): # Samus
griefgathering (00:20:35): *"Eh?!" Nanoha can only hope the auto-defense function of Raising Heart can intercept that in time, with an echo of -Protection Powered-, a magenta barrier should come between the electricity and her.+

Drascin (00:21:03): *As the blasts go for Samus, she suddenly turns into a ball, making the shots sail right over her - and she activates the turbo in the morphball, cannonballing right towards one of the Omega's face!+
Shaun (00:21:06): *Slotting in a card, he changed form to a powerful looking hammer wielding form. Armed now with Kiva Dogga, Tsukasa moved in closer to the opponents, knowing that the stronger weapon and the more powerful armor would probably weather some of the damage despite it being slower. Swinging his hammer, he proclaimed, "Batter up!" and slammed his hammer into the closest Elite Pirate, hoping to send him hurling into the nearest pack to knock them over like tenpins.+

peter kampschroeder (00:21:42): *"Well, today is going to be a long and complicated day, it seems." And Roads opens fire on the omega pirates with both his shotguns. It's probably best not to set the city on fire yet...+
Tengusaur (00:21:58): The barrier stops Nanoha from getting zapped, though it did raise some of her hairs.
Mister Giggles (00:22:17): *Casshern is hesitant. After his talks with the ship's technicians, they've linked his borderline-psychotic combat capabilities with threats to his safety. But... but he can't let these things hurt those humans. So that made it okay. Right? Casshern saw the incoming Pirates firing on Samus, and as they closed in and in sync with her morph ball form, Casshern leaps onto a nearby streetlight, and using that as a springboard, attempts to use his strength and agility to land onto a Pirate's back, and rip the shoulder cannon right off of its emplacement.+

Tengusaur (00:22:43): Samus smashes into an elite pirate, making it stumble backwards! The energy blasts only nicked her, for negligible energy drain.
griefgathering (00:24:23): Nanoha: "Ah--! Ow!" That was both tingly and very unpleasant...at least she knows not to get so close next time.
Tengusaur (00:24:25): Tsukasa smashes one Space Pirate into another, damaging both, and Roads finishes both off with a shotgun blast! There is a problem, however, as other nearby ones smash into the ground, sending powerful floor-cracking shockwaves around to hit all near targets! (you two react)
Tengusaur (00:25:23): Casshern rips off the gun off the Pirate's back. The creature tries to slash at him with its claws, and as it's busy doing that, Ridley opens his mouth wide, breathing a big red beam at both! (react)
Tengusaur (00:25:36): (Kamina, Vlaska, Herb)
EricOverbringer (00:25:42): *Kamina has no problem with Rushing in blindly, and no interest in the small fry. Gurren sprinted down the street towards the Super West Invincible Robot Type-28, bashing aside any pirates that get in the way, accompanied by manly shouting the whole way. A short distance from the target, Gurren leaped
into the air and came down with a Super Combustion of Manly Spirit Punch to the, er, "face."+
peter kampschroeder (00:25:49): *Roads has one of his Slash Harkens latch on to a nearby building and pulls himself off the ground. "Spider man, spider man…"+
Shaun (00:26:14): *Tsukasa reacts instantly. Shockwave for a shockwave as he raises the hammer and slams the hammer down to counter the opponents shockwave, sending a powerful shockwave in its direction. Hopefully it would meet the shockwave and explode. Or cancel one another. Something. Already he's reaching for another card.+
Tengusaur (00:27:14): Kamina's punch leaves a dent in the much bigger opponent's armor, but the West Robo (not gonna write its full name because seriously) is too stable to even stumble back.
VJockey (00:27:14): Vlaska: *RUSSIAN SUPERCAT OF JUSTICE! Vlaska is now charging right at the Type-28, throwing the Slava's massive claws at whatever Space Pirates are foolish enough to get in his way!+
Mister Giggles (00:27:15): *Casshern's berserker mode didn't activate (yet, anyway). But, he sees the incoming blow. Trying to fight the Kill Protocol from activating, he attempts to make use of his absurd flexibility and agility to grab the arm that was slashing at him, pivoting his back, and contorting himself in such a way that he would attempt to use the Pirate as a 'human shield' to defend against Ridley's breath attack.+
Tengusaur (00:27:39): Dr West: "Mwahaha! What is this? Let me show you how real melee looks like!"

Tengusaur (00:28:58): Vlaska charges straight at the West Robo as well, dealing more damage to its thick armor. And now, it shows the drills are not just for show, as it tries to strike at both Gurren and Slava with them! (you two react)

Tengusaur (00:30:07): Roads avoids the incoming shockwave with that tricky maneuver. Tsukasa's shockwave counters the other one somewhat, but he's still sent staggering on his feet! No real damage though.
Tengusaur (00:30:33): As Herb flies towards the West Robo, its head turns towards him and fires a twin laser beam from its eyes! (react/continue)
Tengusaur (00:31:32): Casshern's maneuver proves successful, and Ridley evaporates his minion instead of the android! Casshern gets only slightly singed, but needs to jump away before getting hit further.
Tengusaur (00:31:52): (Samus, Nanoha)
VJockey (00:31:55): Vlaska: *Vlaska pulls back both both the Slava's arms - the claws retracting and the Burst Knuckle Emitters extending forward! They charge with a bright green light!! Vlaska unleashes a massive Blast/Punch at the incoming drill to counter it!!+
VJockey (00:32:13): *also, the loud and angry yowl of a cat fills the air
Mister Giggles (00:32:15): Casshern does jump away. But for someone like him, a slight singing isn't enough to activate his berserk mode. His healing factor is already working on that.
Fri Freeman (00:33:05): Herb is already flying a double feet dropkick, so it put a plasma barrier at his feet and spin like a drill as it continues its dropkick

Drascin (00:35:41): *Samus looks up at Vlaska and Slava. I will have to finish this fast. And so, with the Omega pirates distracted by the chaos, Samus grapple beams right on top of the one in the middle of one pirate team and shoots the ones around to get the phazonically-aggressive creatures to turn and start shooting...&
EricOverbringer (00:36:09): "Sorry, but your drills are alway going to be second rate!" Gurren parries at the incoming drills by wielding its sunglasses as a sword.+
griefgathering (00:36:42): *"Well, it should be fine since the civilians were evacuated..." Having learned her lesson from that previous attack, Nanoha shifts Raising Heart to Buster Cannon Mode. The firing grip pops out, and a small screen with a reticule displays her target. "Let's go!" She takes aim and fires two shots at two individual Pirates -- not Divine Busters, but powerful beams nonetheless! They might be too obvious to actually hit though...&
Tengusaur (00:37:57): Indeed, Samus provokes the pirates, angered by the wounds they suffered from her shots, into shooting straight at her, while the one below her tries to stab her with an arm-mounted bayonet! (react/continue)
Drascin (00:38:30): * ... and while they're confused, a little ball drops to the ground and leaves a brilliant energy pellet right in the middle of the group before turbo-ing away.
And five seconds later, the street goes fucking supernova+
Tengusaur (00:38:41): Seeing Nanoha's beams charge up, the strangely nimble giant pirates dodge out of the way. One of them already starts to charge its plasma cannon in return... (react/continue)
Tengusaur (00:39:02): At the same time...
Mister Giggles (00:39:04): # Samus again?

Tengusaur (00:39:43): The West Robo's drills are met with other weaponry! The sunglasses and Vlaska's claws start to crack, but eventually the drills stop!
Tengusaur (00:40:09): And while Epimetheus is singed by the lasers, he smashes into the giant machine!
Tengusaur (00:40:28): The combined power of counterattacks causes West Robo to take a step back, smashing through several empty buildings!
Drascin (00:40:38): (pretty much the entire area is going to be atomized. I'd appreciate the stab being deviated, but I'd seriously recommend ranged weapons)
Fri Freeman (00:40:57): Herb bounces back from the West Robo and lands on the ground
Mister Giggles (00:41:10): (withdrawn, then, as Casshern is pure melee)
Tengusaur (00:41:29): Dr West: "Decent, for such tiny ants in comparison to my awesome Super West Invincible Robot Type-28 Special! But now your lack is over, time for a counterattack with double force!"
VJockey (00:42:10): Vlaska: "....But. Vlaska. Cat? Why. Call. Ant?" [Ah yes, witty bantering is somewhat lost on Vlaska.]
griefgathering (00:42:11): *Nanoha: And that Pirate's plasma cannon will meet its opponent in the form of one of Nanoha's signature attacks! In goes a cartridge and... "Diviiineee....Buster!!!" The pink beam lashes out! Nanoha carefully shifts it as long as it's able to be sustained, hoping to take out both Pirates in a single strike.+
Tengusaur (00:43:06): Nanoha and Samus cause huge explosions on the ground! When they disappear, only one of the Elite Pirates is left standing!
Tengusaur (00:43:24): Several missile ports open on the body of West Robo...
EricOverbringer (00:43:40): Kamina: "What's that?"
Tengusaur (00:43:56): It fires one missile, but suddenly something moves past it very quickly, cutting through it with a beam blade and causing it to blow up, shaking the West Robo!

Taking to the skies is the enormous sight of Castle Doran and Tsukasa leaps to the head of it. "Lets do this!" And it breathes a massive gout of powerful fire, the ancient wyvern doing what it was doing best: BURNING THINGS. His target? West.+

"…And as for you!" He puts the shotguns back in their holsters, and draws the Zweilicht's massive rifle. Golden lines light up along it, and it fires a railgun round at the drum can's…can-area. But this time, it's glowy, so you know it does more damage.+

Mister Giggles (00:56:26): *Casshern knows full well what's likely to happen if he engages either of those three bosses. So, the logical thing to do would be to attack that remaining pirate. He reaches down to the recently slain pirate that Ridley melted clean through, and picked up what was left of its claw, breaking off the longest sharp edge; its middle finger. He then turns to the remaining pirate, and boosts with his hip-mounted rocket thrusters. Mid boost, he hurls the makeshift throwing knife at the creature's mid-section. &
Shaun (00:57:12): *Breathing in, the castle glowed with a powerful force, simply a lot of life energy from the Fangire it had consumed in the past, and breathed a massive energy beam bigger than it was to catch all the missiles in the attack! Tsukasa also aided the attack by swapping to his gun form and shooting at the missiles.+
Tengusaur (00:58:06): Zweilicht's shot leaves a hole in the giant can's armor - but it's just a single hole. Before Roads can fire another shot, Sandalphon is suddenly next to him, launching a powerful kick that would send the mech flying towards Metatron if it connected! (react)

Tengusaur (01:02:12): The castle manages to destroy most of the missiles, and only gets hit with one or two. The same with Tsukasa, but for him one missile means much more! This is going to hurt later.
griefgathering (01:02:30): *Nanoha: "Watch out!" And Nanoha suddenly darts between Sandalphon and the Zweilicht, casting a Holding Shield in hopes of at least slowing the impact!+

Drascin (01:02:46): With all pirates dead, before going for Ridley Samus manages enough presence of sense to turn on the infravisor and track that mysterious shape

EricOverbringer (01:03:19): *Since he was able to fend off the drills without having to back up, Kamina is close enough to grab at West Robo's leg and yank it out from under it, hopefully flipping the whole thing on it's back. If this works he'll throw in a kick to the nuts, even though it's a robot.+
peter kampschroeder (01:03:21): *Roads isn't going to stick around to see if that shield holds. "Bullet Move!" And there's a sonic boom as the Zweilicht is suddenly…gone. No, not gone-it just jumped a couple hundred meters into the air.+
Tengusaur (01:03:31): Samus notices a large, lean robot moving in the darkness. The vision is not perfect though, it's using very efficient cloaking systems.
Tengusaur (01:03:41): But no doubts about it, the construction is similar to the Slava,.
Mister Giggles (01:04:09): Casshern continued on his trajectory, not expecting to see the machine shredded by a hail of bullets. He turned just in time to see the incoming bullets, pelting his chest. He falls backwards, eyes wide. Of course, the bullets don't amount to much more than a few really nasty bruises on his chest with his endurance, but it hurts. A lot. But slowly, Casshern gets back up, his body contorting strangely as he bends at the ankles to get to his feet. His face has a very strange, listless expression, his eyes half-lidded, mouth half open.

Tengusaur (01:06:06): Kamina manages to lift the West Robo off the ground slightly, but not topple it over yet - the thing is damn heavy! Oh, and it's firing eye lasers at him now. (react)
Drascin (01:06:34): And suddenly she sees him pouncing at Ridley! "Vlaska!" Wow, is that a note of genuine worry in Samus's voice?
Tengusaur (01:06:58): Roads manages to avoid Sandalphon's strike, but the same can't be said about Nanoha. Even if the field protected her, she still gets pushed into Metatron!
EricOverbringer (01:07:03): *Kamina twists Gurren's torso so the laser will hit its pauldrons, and continues lifting!+

Shaun (01:15:49): *With a top speed of 120kph, Doran takes off into the sky, arcing around as Tsukasa shifted forms back to regular Kiva. Commanding Doran to move around so that they were at the same angle that Kamina was trying to heave the guy, Tsukasa zoomed and hoped to turn his own missiles as he shoved a card in. FINAL ATTACKRIDE: K-K-K-KIVA! And leaping into the air at the same time, he came down with a powerful kick!+
Tengusaur (01:15:50): Batting at the bomb results in it exploding, damaging both Slava and Ridley! The latter jumps away from the beam, getting his wing singed.

Fri Freeman (01:16:25): Herb reacts with materializing many many tentacles that attempts to catch the incoming missiles to throw them back at their launcher. Or, simply bat them out of the air.

Aero (01:18:52): *Suddenly way above Akrham a huge amount of magical energy seems to be building up. It pauses for only a moment before a huge shockwaves explodes out from the sky. A huge Super Robot with giant shin guards falls from the sky accelerating at ridiculous speeds. A single sound can actually be heard coming from it. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The screaming of a man. In what seemed to be perfect timing the white machine aimed a single super powered kick at the drum can crashing into it with a huge amount of force behind it.+

Tengusaur (01:20:33): Thanks to Herb's support none of the missiles do more than singe the armor of their targets. The combined efforts of Kamina and Tsukasa manage to lift the West Robo's leg, making it stumble to regain control, which is when THAT hits.
Tengusaur (01:20:59): The kick sends the giant drumcan tumbling backwards, with a huge dent in its armor! It slowly climbs back to its feet!
VJockey (01:20:59): Vlaska:... "Vlaska. alright.. feel. dizzy."

Aero (01:22:55): Demonbane makes a rather nice landing, it's hair flowing in the wind. The Deus Machina was nowhere near as skeletal was it was months before, no this was Demonbane finished.
