It's like when people ask me where I am from... I always reply Australia, because I am from Australia... but they keep quizzing me, as I have a bit of an accent (not that strong, but I don't talk in a strong Aussie accent) and they keep saying, "But you have an accent?" so I reply, "Yes, I've lived overseas, but that doesn't mean that I'm not from Australia!" Grrrrrr!

You know what I always ask back?
Because usually the person is from another background as well, yet I know they'll consider themselves "Australian" as well...
So, I say, "Where are you from then?"
