I haven't listened to Republican radio since I changed jobs. I'm not sure there is any small-r republican radio. So, unless zero is too much, I'll have to disagree with you on that. I read some libertarian-ish blogs semi-regularly, though.
I'm sorry.... I assumed it had to be republican radio. Where else could you find a poll that supported your "the way the polls are going" statement

Drilling for a lot more oil is a *massive* win for McCain, regardless of how people in western Washington feel about it. It's getting something like 60% support in every poll, nationwide. To use your phrasing, I hate to break it to you, but outside of those that think the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, the people who care about the price of gas aren't pro-alternative energy first, they're pro-more oil first, and *then* pro-alternative energy. Well, outside of the corn belt, but government payouts have a way of convincing people of some pretty odd things

I'm not *rooting* for McCain. There are things I like about both candidates, and of course things I dislike about both, but unless McCain pulls his head out of his ass on stem-cell research, I'm probably voting for Obama, since it seems to me that's the issue that has the most long-term implications.
I really wish he had voted against retroactive telecom immunity though. That one hurt him very badly with a substantial portion of the center for whom privacy is the first thing they think about when you say "civil liberties"...
