Iwata Asks: FE Shadow Dragon

Hey everyone! FE: Shadow Dragon is coming out soon, (Real soon. Like tomorrow.) so Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has interviewed Narihiro from Intelligent System's FE team and Sakurai, the creator Kirby and Smash Brothers series about the game. Yeah, been hearing about this for a long time. But I still haven't finished Ike's game. The first one. FE is a completist's nightmare. Why do I always feel like I have to have everything on the board before moving on? I wasn't that way with any of the FF games.

Anyway, don't have a DS, so this would not apply to me.

I think they were promoting an anti-completionist way of playing for this one. To get extra chapters with extra characters in them, you have to let a certain number of your own units die or fail to recruit them in the first place. They say the infamous new prolouge drives that home pretty clearly. XD With the class swap and random ally unit generation features, they pretty much want people to play the way they want to. Marth gets to decide who lives and who dies! :D

I got the bundle with the Gold Triforce DS. I thought it was a good idea since I was really looking forward to the game and it seemed like a good deal.

Marth dismisses extra units with an effeminate wave of his godly hand.

I went yesterday to Gamestop and they told me it would come out today. *puff* I'm going to pick it up in a few minutes, I hope I get the cel-art, because they didn't promote anything about it.

I'm still pretty peeved about the Caeda thing. =/ And, isn't it Marth's puffy pants that make it look like killer thighs? ^^;

BWAHAHA! I GOT IT! AND THE CEL ART! X3 (Though the art is smaller than I thought it would be.)

I was thinking about this for a while, but I think Caeda is supposed to be pronounced like "See-da" like Caeser salad. I've been pronouncing it "Ka-eh-da" like it looks. ^^;

Congrats on getting the cel art. Yeah, I think it's supposed to be "see-da", too.

I don't think pants are supposed to poof that way...plus, look at Marth's new arms. He needs legs to match them. XD

Don't the dancers usually have pants like that? Minus the boots that Marth wears, but I'm pretty sure it's the pants.
