Quiet for now and then without a warning Booom!! Marth fandom again on the rise and on high demand!! hey ....if we were his loyal subjects (duh that's why we are here) then the kingdom would be awfully uhmm .... reduced .. no let's use private yes exclusive even ah... what ever long live Prince Marth!!
Woot! woot! I'm in love all over again thank you! thank you! for what fire emblem?! when does it come out?! (yes alternate outfit for marth in the up coming SSB i can feel it...)
The game is Fire Emblem Awakening for the 3DS, and it should be out in all regions at this point. Marth isn't the main character this time, but he's a character you can download to join your party. I don't have a 3DS, but if I can find at least two other games I'm interested in, I may get one. On the other hand, Fire Emblem games are somewhat complicated, and I don't have the time anymore.
Judging by his character design, looks like they stopped trying to make him more masculine looking, as in Shadow Dragon, and went totally in the opposite direction. I have no problem with this. Granted, in traditional Fire Emblem graphics, he probably appears as a rough batch of pixels on a giant map, but whatever.
In the post that supposedly got blocked for spam, I remember you posted this version of Marth wearing a mask, which strongly reminded me of Leon Magnus' reprisal as Judas in the second Tales of Destiny game. Given the similarities the characters already shared (clothing and hair, sword, same v.a.), I wonder if they were considered in this redesign, or if Japanese game designers just have thing for mysterious boys in masks (probably the latter).
Judging from the kanji it appears that the Marth in this official art is from another world, possibly 'the next' (not that unlikely if this game is set an x amount of decades in the future), so it seems fair to suggest our prince has acquired some supernatural qualities now.
(Hi back, man, I do enjoy these little reunions of ours ya know).
