I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted on my journal.  Not a good sign.  I've been incredibly busy with work and life stuff but nothing too exciting has been going on.  Every time I think of something I should post about about by the time I get around to doing it I have forgotten what I was going to talk about.  Oh well

What was your award for? (and congratulations!)

The award was for some work I had done on making sure an important instrument at work keeps running correctly and training all new people to use it. It's called an NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance instrument). Kind of like an MRI.

I bought him some new toys and I'll probably get him some treats too. We usually make him a birthday cake of some kind as well. No party though.
