I finished the last book in my Glen Cook series. Soldiers Live.

Anyone that likes medieval fantasy novels. I recommend them. First book is The Black Company. You can't get it new. You can get it at a used bookstore cheaper than buying it online. Highly highly recommend it.

But for now, I've got nothing to read. Which sucks.

So Alan calls me up. He's stranded on the side of the road calling from a payphone or something. Can't find Kat. David's on the North Side. Dad's out of town. Mom's in the hospital. Mom's OK. She's in recovery now. Spent the day with her yesterday. Also went to FCCJ to get my book list and find my classrooms. And mowed Grandpa's lawn and edged it and stuff with David. Was very busy, but all worth it.

I went outside on my break a few minutes ago. It's raining, though not hard. I went to sit in my car for a few minutes. No radio. Just raindrops on my roof. I wore sandals to work today. You'd think that would be ok. But apparently my feet decided today would be a good day to get the funk on.
