Yeah, it is, and I'm still angry.

Thanks for the sympathy. :)

I don't understand, did they KNOW it was your cake? Because that is the most souless thing ever. "Oh, the reason we're having the party isn't here yet. Eh, fuck it." *Munch munch munch*

I don't know. The cake said 'Happy Birthday Virgos' but the lettering job was kind of caca. I didn't even know what it said at first.

I'm not sure how many of them knew it. Nor am I sure how many would have cared.

It didn't help that Bonnie took the first piece less than an hour after the cake was put out. That kind of gave everyone an invitation to dig in.

How freakin awful! I don't know if I'd say anything either, because honestly I wouldn't want a fuss made and another cake or anything, but seriously, I probably would mention it eventually. Ack.

I've mentioned it to a few of the staff since. I haven't caught the specific staffer who got everything set up yet, but I think she's in on Thursday.

I kind of DO want another cake. All for me. Maybe I'll get my the person who provided the cake (my old AC) to buy me a red velvet mini-cake from Sweet Life.

And, as I've said previously, I have mentioned to a few staff members now, just because I couldn't hold the frustration in until Alina gets here on Thursday.

I'm so deeply sorry. I do have to say though that hopefully next time you won't be looking out for other people when it comes to things like this.

Sadly, I probably will be less likely to do so. I dislike it when people prove they aren't worthy of simple kindness and generosity. Especially when I still feel beholden to show those qualities to them.

One of the thoughts really bugging me about it is that I am all but positive someone took home a large slab of cake (half or a quarter, maybe). The cake was half a sheet, in terms of size. We have less than 20 residents.
