Lovely chapter! No reason at all to freak out. You picture both a depressed and grieving Hermione and a recuperating Hermione very much in character and your Pansy is absolutely perfect! Still recognizable but at the same time older and wiser. I like the Slytherin loyalty of her and Snape very much and it definitely proves that they consider Hermione as one of them now. And the Weasly scene didn't feel cliche to me, because I've always thought the war could have either enhanced their tolerance toward Slytherins or renewed their intolerance, according to their own coping strategies and dealing with grief and loss. So perfectly believable to me.

And now I hope we will see something of Harry and of Greg! After all he was the Slytherin who was friendly to Hermione without having any obligations to do so and methinks she still can use some more friends. Bring him back please!

Whew! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Seriously, there are a few reviewers who act as sort of a barometer for me, and you are one of them. I feel much better now. :)

Harry will definitely be making an appearance soon. As for Greg, I'm not sure. I had a plan for him, but looking at my outline now, I'm not so sure I like it so much. I do have another idea for him, but I need to be sure it will work before I commit to it. lol So ... maybe, maybe not? We'll see. Your guess is as good as mine. lol

I have to say I wondered where the Weasleys were and I'm disappointed but not surprised. I am interested to see if Pansy might be eventually made part of a minor pairing *hint* *hint*

Yay!!! I haven't got to it yet as I've been frantically trying to finish up my LBB fic. As soon as I finish the beta's edits and get it sent off, this is the next fic on my list. I'm going to start at the beginning.

My self-confidence with writing took a big hit with my prolonged hiatus, so it really means a lot to know that people are still enjoying my stories. Awww, sweetie, it was a well deserved rec. Since you've not been around the ss/hg fandom as much in the last few years I thought some of the newer fangirls might not have read your work. And let's face it ss/hg fangirls deserve the best and that definitely includes your work.

Believe me, I totally get the self confidence thing. A couple of years ago I didn't finish a fic in time for a fest and for some reason it really bothered me, I felt like I'd failed at something I loved doing. Even though I did finish it and posted it afterward to the archives, my muse took a long hiatus after that. I'm just starting to get back into writing again. I'm so glad to see you posting and hope RL cooperates and your muse stays in touch. ;-)

ETA: the LuciusBigBang starts posting in November but no telling when each fic is going to post. It's not an anonymous fest, so I'll probably post to my lj when my fic goes up. :)
