Have some Madeira, my dear? ;P Given the way Hermione is looking at Severus, she's not wondering where the teapot keeps its brain-and that is a plush-looking robe, isn't it? Oh, my. I'd willingly take leave of my senses, too, to unwrap Severus, but since it would be incredibly unwise to come between a witch and her wizard, let me tell you how amazing your sentient teapot is! I love how it appears to be delicately stepping upon its tippy toes, and every last little detail of this work draws me into the wizarding world as strongly as Severus' seduction of Hermione. He knows her well, it seems. *pleased*

I think his is either watered silk or satin & hers is velvet.
I think he's drinking a magical hot Absinthe.

Wow! Thank you so very much! In real life I once went to an event at a stranger's house. (I was college-aged and I went to help a friend avoid boredom) Everyone upstairs was proper and formal, but when I went downstairs where I had seen a few go, people had changed into casual clothes and it was evident they were staying the night. No one realized I didn't belong there, so I gazed around as if I were looking for someone, then casually HIGHTAILED it out of there. It had a hint of "eyes wide shut" about the situation. (you know, this is actually the first time I've ever brought it up in 30 years). That's TOTALLY Malfoy in my headcanon. Snape gets along with him, so he knows what is kept in the leather box on the podium in that one room in the underbelly of the manor. Hermione curiously wanders like I did, but instead of being creeped and a little afraid, she becomes intrigued by her former professor. Now you know a secret!

Oh man the textures & intricacies in this drawing!!!!!
You can practically feel the grain of the woods, the roughness of the stones & their clothes!

I think I know who this artist is. But I won't spoil it for anyone.

Although, you know, not sure I'd accept the drink. Not that she shouldn't trust Severus (although, maybe she shouldn't...), but I KNOW not to trust anything at Malfoy Manor!
