I've wondered about how this sort of conversation might go before, and I think that Minerva's advice about it is wise. Hermione and Severus do well to be honest with their child, and because of how they've raised Scarlett, she responds well to it. It's excellent to see how close they are to each other, and how much they trust each other. This is a lovely established family fic. Thank you for sharing it. :D

Yup, I'm totally not sitting here trying not to cry at that child's love for her parents.

Onion fairies. Bloody onion fairies.

Uncomfortable talk for all involved but Severus and Hermione's love for Scarlett carried them through.

Your story, Mystery Author, let my quill make so many checks on my happy list - an emotionally vulnerable Severus, subtle social commentary on the dangers of helicopter parenting, and a healthy dose of Albus bashing. Very nice.

Omg 🤧🥺 I want more! Absolutely loved this. I really enjoyed the fact that Severus was a mini helicopter parent but also is so openly honest with his daughter when it was important. I would 💯% read a whole fic surrounding how Hermione and Severus's relationship came about and up to this point. Well done MA
