I really loved that book. He has a second one, that I think I own, and I've... maybe? read? Maybe?
Anyway, enjoy being entertained by the Frenchy-French.

This book has made me giggle so very many precious times. I love the excerpt about those "trifling inconveniences" involved when one attempts to buy a house in Provence. Something about the passage of goats through the kitchen every now and then. :D

Gena, do you have a VCR there in College Land? No need to think twice about that question, for I have secrets!

I hope you are well<3

I do, I do have a VCR.

Do you have waterfalls? Perhaps? And scantily clad women?

I wish goats wandered through my kitchen. Instead, I just get hippies who usually smell like goats. That I live with. Yay, college?

I have no waterfalls, and the scantily clad women I know are usually less welcome than more. Those would be the scantily clad women that the media and our culture has deemed appropriate: those advertising beer, those having steamy Doctor affairs, etc.

So, I'm going to send you a few things, one being VCR related. And it's March, I'm feeling frisky and tricksy and.. secretive. I'm not positive that you're going to like what I send, but it's worth the chance. And if you don't enjoy them, I'm sure there is some goathippy in your kitchen that may:D

I like the many ways that one might pronounce goathippy. Though most of them make me feel rather stereotypically gay man.

Oh, Gena, this is embarrassing.........
