Stuff.
So what have I been up to lately?
STUFF!
Yeah, that about sums it up too. I've purchased supplies for several costumes, one of which I can't talk about. SHHHH! But others that I can post pictures of.
This wig actually comes out being brighter in the picture then what it really is. It's a deeeeep purple, but for some reason photographs more blue...funky, but it's a gorgeous wig. I shopped around for a wig for a loooong time at a local shop and on the interwebs. I was throughally dissapointed. Even Cyperous failed me. I cry. I finally ended up settling on this one. I went for something that was much longer than what I needed to I could style it the way I wanted. I just have to get extensions that match it. :D
I am SOOOOOOOOO happy that big jewelry is now the "in" thing. Cause that means I can go to Target and find some seriously cheap cosplay stuff! These earrings would be part of that "SCORE". I actually found some cheap earrings that had these beautiful red balls on them. So I bought the earrings only to rape them. Lol. Bad Steph. Ryoko only has one earring, so Patti has another one for back up! W00t.
May I also add that it was hard as hell to take this picture. I would focus in on the earrings, make sure everything was straight and then go to take the picture and Bandit was playing with the earrings, thus knocking it over. Nargh kitty! :P
Also Patti and I have started purchasing fabric for Manga Muugen uniforms for Haruka and Michiru. We decided to do this set for ACEN so we have something comfy to cosplay in at the booth. We have the skirt/pants/tie/bow material, which is that ugly olive color, we have the orangey burgandey for the jackets, stuff to make buttons with, and my navy blue for my collar. This week is we will be picking up lining! I'll post pictures of the skirt I'm currently putting lines on when I'm all done. But UUUUUGH. Liiiiiiines. @.@ I've gone through three fabric marker pens already and almost a whole roll of masking tape! Scary timez.
Other than that I've actually been working on a layout for Starnigh Industries. We're actually going to use that as our store front. :) I will of course link back when it's up, but for now I don't have everything I need for it, so I'm leaving it down.
