The antibiotics are working... my coughing's gotten a lot less... actually, less even than these past few years... I haven't coughed this little since I was 11 or something when it basically started ( Read more... )

Hmm, if you've been coughing like that for that long, I hope it's nothing serious. I wouldn't know what it would be, and I'm sure the pnuemonia made it all the worse, but still, if you have coughs for years on end, that has to suck. I would think it's something treatable though, and if the antibiotics work, they should put you on those more regularly instead of wasting all that money on meds that do nothing...but then again I'm no doctor...

Hope it all gets better soon, maybe someday you won't cough at all?

Well it's basically just astma... that comes in many different ways...
It's a bit vague, but you could see it like this:
There is this irritation in my airways that gets me a bit too much slime or whatever... which is basically like a starting infection or whatever... and my meds should prevent that from becoming a real infection and reduce the slime... well, so much for preventing that infection with a pneumonia like this...
I s'pose my meds have worked against the coughing... but compared to the antibiotics it's just very mediocre obviously...

My dad had it from 15 to 22, just about... I've had it since I was about 11. If my dad's coughing passed, mine should too, but I guess you never know... mebbe the fact that I got it earlier also means it goes on longer...

Oh well, we'll just have to see after I'm done with the antibiotics... see if my coughing gets worse again, if the absense of milk does anything... I mean, so far I haven't been able to see the effect of it with all this upcoming stuff...

That's right, I forgot you have asthma...well that makes more sense. But yeah, I think it might pass, I'm sure the pnuemonia did make it alot worse, but hopefully your meds will keep infection at bay, and maybe in a few years it will clear up alltogether. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! ;)

You know, there's this terrible haze which hit my place in Malaysia due to the forest fire in Indonesia. And since the Indonesian Government said they couldn't do jack about it, the situation will worsen in 1-2 weeks time.

I was driving to work yesterday and today, and visibility was reduced to around 100meters. It's friggin 1pm, and I can't even sewe the friggin sky. It's kinda like Mordor, only it's much more beautiful. And I'm beginning to get these nasty coughs as well. And not to mention the sore throats and eye pains etc. I can even smell the scent of burning wood. It's madness.

I'll die young if it goes on like this. I gotta move to someplace else while thing haze thing cools off.

I'd say the coast of southern Spain. Smog doesn't stay between houses, if ya got forest fires or whatever you hardly notice... that's the thing I always noticed when we still went on holidays there... When the air was warm and dry there I wouldn't cough much, but when it's warm and dry here I do cough, turns out the smog stays between the buildings and stuff, over there the streets and stuff are much more open and stuff so the wind blows it away... especially near the beach and stuff...
So yeah, mebbe try something like that... I'd personally prefer a more foresty environment... but not so hot it leads to forest fires and stuff... but I guess ya got the occasional idiots who throw away their sigarettes...
