Puppy aka That_grr alerted me to your travel plans and I'll be glad to help you out. You know, if you need directions or anything! I'm busy on the 26th when you arrive, but that evening there is a great bear/cub party called GRIP that you will probably want to check out! That link will open the Facebook page for Grip. I'll be going later in the evening. You are welcome to email me at robnickel@shaw.ca and I can provide you with more local bear & cub links and maybe even make plans to meet for a drink or whatever you like.

Davie Village is one of the gay areas. (The other is Commercial Drive, further East.)
There's a big drug store called "Shoppers" and right next to that is a flower shop and the Davie Village Central is up the stairs from that.
Other things to do is cycle around Stanley Park, it's beautiful. Also go to Wreck Beach, the nude beach, at the tip of the peninsula where the University is. There are two parts, the Main beach and the gay beach. Plus the gay part of the Main beach.
On the way up the coast which is on the way to Whistler is the town of Squamish which has a huge white rock wall to climb if you're into climbing.
What sort of things do you like to do?

Thanks for your reply and directions to find the venue for GRIP - I'm looking forward to attending...
Will you be there too?
With regard to what I like to do... Hmm - Hard question - I'm a man of many interests ;-D
But first and foremost, I like getting to know new people e.g. via a great chat over lunch at a café or the occasional beer in a pub and taking things from there... ;-)
