I'm a contact lens wearer, have been since I was 16 & didn't even own a pair of glasses for the past decade. I hated wearing them. So heavy & often so intrusive, sliding down my nose at awkward times, not to mention the expense.
Well I just purchased 6 pair for myself & my husband @ Zenni. Total cost? $227 USD, including shipping. Less than the cost of buying one pair locally. The pair I have on at the moment weigh 19 grams! Go to your optician. Get fitted. Maybe even get a pair of specs to use now, BUT check out Zenni & think about getting a pair or three for back up.
Maybe even some presciption sunglasses, Soren. (They have sun in Denmark, right?) :)
The only suggestion I would add is that you ensure you make note of your pupillary distance; at least here in the USA it's not often written on the actual prescription - it's left for an optician to measure, and it's absolutely essential to having a pair of glasses made.
The only caveat I see is that their site only mentions U.S. shipping; I don't know how much shipping to Denmark would be, nor how much additional hassle it might be to place such an order.
