I love that clip. Even if he didn't fall down comically, that gimmick was still totally asinine. At least they got years of mileage from it this way. I never quite understood what look they were going for.

Christ! There is no way you could massage that scene to make it look good. Saying it was a set-up makes it look, if anything, even worse. Blimey though, that's a scary set of pipes the Shockmaster has! He sounds like he should play the Candyman on Tony Todd's days off.

It's a pretty good voice, it reminds me of some of the better crank calls that born-again Christian talk show host Bob Larson would get around Halloween from people claiming to be possessed by the devil and in dire need of an exorcism.

Haha, we don't get that kind of live crank call in the UK, to my consternation. I think someone told Matt Bianco they were a bunch of wankers on kids TV in the 80s, and then that was kind of it.
