Fugazi, 2001, Le Rendezvous is the first one that comes to mind. I had recently been, uh, removed from an opening act and just wasn't in the right place (mentally) to go.
I also wouldn't have minded seeing !!! a couple years back. And there's always the odd show at the MTS Centre where I think "darn, that would have been good..."
I'm sure I might add to this post at some point later when another sadly missed show comes to mind...

Yeah, I was talking with a friend and both of us admitted we really should have saw the Roger Waters concert there.
I usually hate it when former band members do nostalgic greatest hits tour of their old band, but since Waters wrote the vast majority of their biggest material, and Pink Floyd has basically been put on semi-permanent hiatus since he was kicked out, it might have been the only chance to essentially see the main creative force behind the band as opposed to seeing Pink Floyd nowadays which would be the other guys covering Waters' songs.

I'm not really surprised. I admit I sound crotchety, but I really do think Hip-Hop was significantly better 15-20 years ago then overnight it became overcommercialized gangsta rap. There's still good underground hip-hop out there but the reason why they're considered underground is because of the crap that's now accepted as mainstream hip-hop.

You might be surprised by that, but I likes the Old School hip-hop. I'm totally gutted I can't go. :(

Shame you can't go, though. :(
