You should join our knitclub! Crochet is welcome!

I totally just put that cookbook on my Christmas list. I love sweet potato, especially cooked in savory ways. In fact, I don't really like sweetened sweet potato unless it's sweet potato pie. (Made a fab sweet potato pie recently from an allrecipes.com recipe. I'll have to track that back down.)

YAY! When do you knit?

I highly, highly recommend the Bittman cookbook. Things that I love about it: it includes a lot of different ethnic cooking styles (Indian, Asian, European, Middle Eastern...). Also, he includes tons of substitutions and variations, so its really flexible cook friendly.

It is too much stuff for a two person household! We have to force ourselves to feed larger groups of people once every two weeks or else we'd throw a lot away. Then, sometimes you just have a MILLION grapefruits. Although, I hear their membership is getting big enough that they might start offering smaller than box orders, but it hasn't happened yet.
