I'm sorry to say that banks AND health insurance companies all do that. The notifications are all automated by a bot who doesn't care if you've already alerted the bank and such until things have been properly processed (which usually takes a week or more). My health insurance company usually tells me to ignore the stupid bot's notices, and that they do know of the situation.
