Is anyone on Twitter?  I keep hearing about it, but I really don't know anything about it, or why it is so hot all of a sudden.  I figure all you hipsters on my flist will know what the scoop is?!

My understanding (which might not be right) is that it's kind of like the Facebook status updates, in that you write down what you're up to and people comment on it. Lots of famous people use them like a blog, I think. Stephen Fry, Barack Obama, Tom Felton...

I've been wondering about it myself! *is clearly neither hip nor cool* However, I suspect that between LJ and Google Reader, I spend enough time absorbed in the net!

Yeah, I really don't need to spend anymore time on the web either! But, everyone is talking about Twitter, yet, no one I know is on it!
