As if things weren't sucking enough, now I'm getting sued?
By two people, from the car wreck last fall.

Apparently State Farm hasn't given anyone the money yet.
They say they're waiting to give it all out at once, and yeah, they've hired a lawyer to try and settle this out of court, but seriously?Though speaking of, all my friends in the wreck, ( Read more... )

It's alright, the rest of the day's gone relatively well so far.

Also, Lorb and I were amusing ourselves with the fact that you're (most) always Lisa Bower and not just Lisa despite the fact that we don't have others to confuse you with. If you put a 'The' in front of your name, it's even more like you're a super hero.

The full name thing is hilarious. People have been doing it since my junior year at Hollins. I like to think it's because my name sounds better when pieced together.

But hell, I've always wanted to be super and having my name sound like a superhero's is that much more stellar!

I always hear the tales of the amazing things that Lisa Bower has done, and it makes me excited.
(but maybe I'm being a tad fangirlish? Not that I'm trying to be, but legendary hollins alums are always exciting)

It should be alright. It's the insurance company hiring the lawyer, because they're the ones paying, it just happens to be that they're suing them through me, or vise versa. But I will.
