Learning Theory (part 1)

Intro

To many this will be a very boring post that's difficult to understand and unless you read it rather thoroughly, it likely won't provide much of value. If you take your time to understand what I'm going to explain and understand how you can use it to your benefit, you will likely become a more capable learner in general. Also, prophylaxis (god I love that word) comes into to play under "intuition". In chess, based on experience alone, you can "predict" things that even you "don't know what's going to happen!". That's what I think the intuition that you mention.

Haha, Josh (Waitzkin) always says that word. Have you ever watched the Chess Master tutorials? They are really good learning tools..

Sure we can play. I haven't practiced much and you will probably pwn me up, but I still remember how to castle and file my rooks! I'm sure I can put up a decent fight =P

I read some books that had that word in it-- The medical field uses it a lot too :P

Yeah, and condoms and other forms of contraception are called prophylactics I think! Lol.
