I just posted on part of the people part, and yes, it's for real. I'm trying to raise money for a charity that a friend of mine runs in rural Bulgaria. A woman in the ghetto has no door. She has a piece of fabric hanging in a hole where a door would be nice. The floor is currently very uneven, and she hopes to provide a level cement floor so that the lady won't trip and fall.

Among other projects, she is trying to provide help with electricity bills, food bills, medication, some school supplies, and a first aid kit.

For the animals, she's trying to provide new harnesses for two horses (and horse shoes), medication for animals, and spaying and neutering.
