When you have special project stuff that needs to be put away, put it where the rest of that item usually goes or you won't be able to find it when you need it again. Sigh.

Bought these beautiful paper doilies and had them ready to go...then the DAY I want to use them, can't find them anywhere.

I spent a HOUR yesterday looking for a set of uniform buttons... Only to discover I had put them in a safe place: in the Box of Everything we keep the small sewing tools in! They are now in the project bag along with the rest of the fabric, the lining, and all the other bits needed for this project...

Yep, it was. Still missing the stuff, so I bought more and I know where that bag is at.
