I'm totally not taking a swipe at K/S shippers here (hell, I used to be one), but I honestly think Bones would find K/S mind boggling. "Green-blooded hobgoblin" and all that. Also, this decided to be McKirk. Hope that's ok. Also, so much for being an anon.

"Hey, can I use your station, Jim?" Bones asked one afternoon as he helped Jim clean up after lunch in the Captain's quarters. "I need to file a paper for a journal."

"Yeah, yeah, go ahead, Bones," Jim replied, hurriedly getting ready for his shift.

"Thanks," Bones said, watching Jim grab a wad of PADDs with a mixture of amusement and irritation.

"No problem," Jim told him before scurrying out the door.

Bones settled into the chair at Jim's desk, calling up a browser. Jim apparently had his set to open up to his last set of tabs as he was greeted by a livejournal page. Bones's eyebrows reached for his hairline.
