I would love to see Kirk and Bones during the Academy. They're like BFF but there are times Bones is bothered by Kirk's...er...free-loving (lol). Somehow, they argue, Kirk storms off, gets drunk in a bar and is assaulted in a back alley. But he tries to hide it from Bones because he fears Bones will just say he deserved it and Kirk just stumbles home.

But Kirk is hurt more than he realizes, maybe in his delirium, he passes out bleeding in the shower. Bones is worried and even though he tells himself Jim's a grown man, he goes to check on Jim and finds him. Massive hurt/comfort, doctory things please. Bonus points if in the end, Kirk and Bones become more than friends.

I hope this will suffice. I am not anon, will never be anon, will not even be good enough to lick anon's shoes, but it's been two years since this fic was written so I have taken it as abandoned. I've humbly written a completion for it, and hope that I do not step on anyone's toes. If I did, I profusely apologise.
