Challenge #10: Postcard from the Future

Yesterday's topic--the aftermath of Narada--brought the angst, as roflolmaomg  showed Kirk smiling through the tears and sangueuk shared a quiet, heartbreaking moment in the captain's quarters in Space Dust.

So it's Monday, right? The most annoying day of the week, right? So how about a little time-traveling brain teaser for our penultimate 11 for XI entry?

You've got to figure that Starfleet debriefed the hell out of Spock Prime, once they figured out who he was (and as soon as Temporal Investigations got done with him). Of course, because of the change in timeline, not everything that Spock witnessed would happen anyway...and now it especially may not, since Spock is there to warn against it.

Your challenge: Describe a piece of advice that Spock gives to Starfleet--or an individual--with or without warnings about how that knowledge might affect people's lives.

Meta: Roll around in the implications of Spock's advice on the timeline, if you dare. Would Spock consider it better to just shut up? Would Starfleet consider the information classified? How would they consider it safe to use? Would it be ethical to suppress it if revealing it meant saving lives?

Creative/Personal: Spock Prime presumably has an interest in the well being of his younger self and his friends. What personal advice or guidance might he give them (other than what he saw him give to Spock in the movie)?
