Haven't updated in a while. Partly because interesting things don't really happen to me and also partly because I've been fairly busy (and also fairly stressed) and updating hasn't really been a priority. As it happens I finished writing my thesis at about half past ten on Saturday night, about 30 hours after it was due, and handed it in at nine o' ( Read more... )

I haven't actually looked at the others yet, though, skimming through the names, I think a lot of them are the same as last term. My selection process was pretty much 'if it has quantum anywhere in the blurb cross it off the list' (which sadly enough got rid of nearly all of them).

They have been pretty good,
lots of sleeping etc. and I Went and saw transformers yesterday!!! :D
I'm in LOVE with that movie!

I'd completely recommend the proteins project, but I think Jeremy has probably already taken it. Who have you tried contacting?

I've tried Alex Hamilton and Chris Hamer. But Hamer replied so uhh. Oh gosh I left this late.

When we "discuss" the projects with potential supervisors what on earth am I supposed to ask anyway?

Nah, last time around I tried Paul Curmi, John Webb, and Alex Hamilton and Adam Micolich all about 2-3 weeks before the deadline.
Only Paul replied. Thats why I did proteins.
This time around I got emails back the same day I sent them out.
I think some lecturers are just slacker than others.
