( taken aback by Elizabeths voice, Vlads grip on the stake momentarily loosens...Elizabeth rears up, black energy flowing from her, blasting Dracula away...He crashes into a wall some 30 feet behind him...the Countess wihtdraws the spear once more, this time breaking it in half...she runs at Vlad with a scream, holding both pieces of the broken stake in front of her, as if to stake him....)
