Hey everyone! Thanks so much for all of your advice and input on my post. After much deliberation, I have decided there is no place I'd rather be than St. Mary's. Hope to be seeing some of you around campus ^_

They didn't have cross-country when I graduated in 2005. Walter Hill (political science) would be the one to talk to about that, though. As for running routes, definitely check out the trails behind Historic St. Mary's and the Snow Hill Manor loop about a mile north of campus.
as for XC, there's a club. they meet mondays through thursdays at 4pm. i'm not in it only because it conflicts with too many classes, which makes me sad, because i'm a bit of a masochist with running myself.
however, i found a good self-torturing alternative. crew at 5:30am on weekdays. it's more or less the only sport that doesn't conflict with ANYTHING else on campus. it doesn't hurt quite as much though lol.
when you get around to that whole facebook thing look me up- kat van der wende.
see ya next year! don't hesitate to ask questions!

it's easy to be nerdy here, don't worry.

I've heard a lot of good things about crew. I've never done it before, but I am quite intrigued.
