I'd originally written a draft of this as a sequel to a Mirrorverse story called Cognitive Dissonance, and when the prompt went live, ended up cutting it down to 1000 words for our entry. I never used to write porn! I swear! The kinkmeme has corrupted me.

Basically, inside my head, Mirror!Pike is obsessed with her control. This was the first time I'd come at the story from his POV instead of hers, and I do actually believe that he loves her--as much as he is capable of such an emotion.

It's funny that you said this, because apparently I skipped right over the bit that said this was mirror verse and read it as if it were from the original verse. And it worked perfectly well from that perspective, too. I think that's brilliant.

Also, thank you for the kind words! Pike's POV is a bit less harrowing than Number One's POV, in the Mirror Universe that lives in my head. That said, I've a lot more story planned, to follow up on Colt's bit in Cognitive Dissonance.

Thanks so much! my mental image of the Mirror Universe Pike/Number One is that all of their personality traits are that bit MORE. So Pike's attraction to the forbidden comes into play, as does Number One's desire to protect herself by constantly maintaining control. Together it's like matter/antimatter.
