Love this! I have a thing for pining Jim, oh yes I do, which you have fulfilled beautifully and made all of my fangirly dreams come true. Sulu using his sword to save Jim was inspired and I really like how he took matters into his own hands and just planted one on the Captain. I quite like Kicker as a nickname, too. It is being duly filed in my head canon for this pairing :D
