name: Rozurashii rank: CAPTAIN! preferred method of contact: aim: joethesockpuppet; email: chaosraven at gmail what makes our ship the best ship: HOTTIES. Also, I love cross-gen relationships because I find them fascinating. It's a difficult dynamic to work realistically and just awesome and complicated. Bones is such a tsundere (someone who is cold on the outside and mushy on the inside) which plays well with Chekov's genki (perpetually cheerful/optimistic) personality. anything else: I come from a lot of manga fandoms so I might through around random Japanese. WHOOPS. I love AUs and I *really* love any story that does a good job dealing with Bones's alcoholism.
ps, my favorite story so far is Misconduct by calicocat. BOY I HOPE SHE JOINS US.
Welcome aboard, Yeoman! I see you have the right idea on how to get this party started! Remember to introduce yourself to teammates and check back on this entry for updates and fun with comments!
name: casspeach rank: um, ensign, I guess? preferred method of contact: email via lj or pm, also via lj what makes our ship the best ship: I'm a sucker for the broken guarded withdrawn misanthrope having all the carefully-erected barriers around their heart smashed through by someone too bright and sunshiney to even see them. McCoy/Chekov has this. Also, let's face it they're neither of them hideously deformed. I also love the disparity between Chekov's youth and his genius (and ability to calmly hold down a pretty important position on a pretty massive ship). And Bones's strength of character to have turned himself around from the rumpled mess that threatens to throw up on Jim in the shuttle.
I could go on...but I won't.
anything else: I'd just like to pimp out the McCoy/Chekov story written for me for happy_trekmas because it's awesome. here it is
Hey there! Dropping by from the Chulu team~ I really look forward to seeing what you guys produce. Bones/Chekov is not usually my cup of tea, but i'm excited to see how you guys make this pairing work. I'm corruptible~ XD
Her art is amazing, isn't it? I was so delighted when I got it, I actually teared up a bit, and I still look at it for McCoy/Chekov inspiration when I need it.
Also hi! Which I meant to say in my comment to you before, but I got distracted by the waffles :-)

I look forward to having a lot of fun on this team!

It's unrequited MU!Chekov/MU!McCoy, MU!Kirk/MU!McCoy you know Chekov wants him bad. And he's so cheerful! And sociopathic!
