Well it all started bout 2 days after christmas and 1 day b4 my parents 25 anniversary. My dad told my mom he was goin to move out,so he started looking around. Then 3 days later he came back and said they are goin to get a divorce.Yes i know it doesn't sound like anything that could happen to my family but it is happening..Come to find out there ( Read more... )

Im sorry, sweetheart. it is unfortunate, but these sort of things do happen on occasion. the most important thing to realize is that this is not in any way a reflection on you. your dad didnt leave because of you, he left because he doesnt know where to go with his life. he probably believes that his life has gotten boring, and that he wanted a change. when you get together with someone new, theres a euphoria at first. you love the person because you are assailed with all of these new feelings. some call it lust, I just call it temporary love. theres a chance that your parents might get back together. in all probability, I think thats whats going to happen...but theres also a chance that they wont. whatever happens, I think you're doing the right thing by sticking by your mom. lots of love!

Stacy sweety I'm so sorry to hear about this...that doesn't sound like your father at all. Well, all the best love to you and the rest of the family. I know you all have the strength to get through these tough times. If you need a shoulder or anything just ask...BTW, I'm moving back in with my parents so maybe I'll stop by and say hello. It's been a long time. Take care sweety and tell your mom hello for me.

well you know where i am when you need to vent or escape the madness that has become your house.........yer dad will realize what he has done to his family and have to live with it for the rest of his life, and hopefully i will set your mom up with mark and hopefully she accept that her life isnt over, just her marriage.....love you lots fatty
