More Help! Udon Noodles

Jan 05, 2008 13:02

I know this is a silly question, but I wanted to make udon noodle soup and couldn't find the pre cooked noodles that I find in an Asian store, so I made it with the Japanese ramen. It was still good, but I want to make some soup today... Do you know of any regular stores that carry this? Or do you know of any Asian stores in South San Jose ( Read more... )

Usually ranch 99 has them... The fresh noodles in the store near my house are close to the produce department.

Ranch 99 is far from where I live or I would have just went there. It's also cheaper than most markets. I went to the one I posted above and it was awesome. It's on the edge of Japan Town and specifically for Japanese foods. I loved it! The markets in Japan are similar to this one.

Now that I know they have them on Bernal I won't go drive all the way to the Market in Japan town. Although I had fun in that store. All sorts of things I wanted to buy. I love Ranch 99, but didn't want to drive that far. Since I don't live too far from you you'll have to let me know when you're going so I can tag along.

Are you going to be planning any Tahoe trips this year?
