Happy Birthday, verte27!!!

Everything went fairly smoothly today. C and I managed to get up and dressed and over to Mom's house by just a few minutes past 6 and we made it to downtown by just after 7am. I so wish I could be there to see the happy family.

I have officially been playing this new game for a week now and I am still loving it. I even love that my muscles are a little sore from the exertion.

I've also re-re-(re?)-started my diet. If I can keep my motivation up I'm hoping to see actual results again soonish.

For the 4th year in a row, I am participating in the St. Louis leg of the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure.

I just finished reading Julia's Chocolates by Cathy Lamb. It is what I would call a girly book that deals with abuse (children and spousal), neglect (mostly children), some romance and a bit of cancer, but it is laced with hilarious antics and an overall feel-good theme.

I highly recommend it to anyone who can handle such topics.

The day went off relatively smoothly. With the exception of lolahere (who couldn't get out of work) everyone from both of our immediate families was at the Church for the Mass and ceremony.
