I turned my printer off. But I am under no circumstances shutting down my computer when I'm gone or at night. I think the printer will kick us down 13 cents.

Looks like we're under the average!!! Has anyone figured out how much shutting off one printer would actually save us? Just a question... Oh well, I hope this puts us under the average.

I've also shut off my CD player, which I always left on. Plus, I don't have overhead lights, so that has to count for something. Aaaand we're all 4 going to be gone this weekend, so we can turn our heat down and make sure to turn all lights off.

Now that we know they're counting and we could get a prize, I expect our bill to go down, because I know I would just leave the light on in my room when I wasn't in there. And the bathroom lights. And the stove & sink lights... and the living room lights...

This all sounds like quite the ordeal...and I must add don't ever have the heat and air on at the same time. A visitor to our apartment did that once allll night. I am sure that would bump you up a bajillion cents..lol
