bits 'n' things
After a long week at work, I am catching up on reading all the blogs on my Google Reader. All sorts of gems and nuggets in there! Happily, since my coworker volunteered me to work last night, I have Monday free - two days off! Hopefully I can get through some cooking adventures and some other projects.
In lovely news, the Hubby's best friend and his wife had their first baby on Friday! Their daughter, Siri, was 6 lbs. 9 oz., 20 inches long, and was born one day before her due date - right on time! Mama and baby are doing well and hopefully coming home today. The Hubby already got to visit her in the hospital, but is grounded for not taking the camera. We are going to see them later today.
So with baby in close proximity on the brain, I have taken a leave of my senses and decided to make Siri a felt name book. I may regret this later, we shall see. I have also found myself supremely distracted by cute baby gifts! Par example:
