Alice was finally able to move, even if it was slightly. Fortunately, she didn't seem to have it as badly as some of the others, but it still hurt like hell. Tired of being in bed, and wanting to see Frank really badly, she threw on silk pajamas and a bathrobe and slowly walked down the stairs, holding the wall for support.
She smiled slightly as she saw James. "So, whose brilliant idea was it to prank the Slytherins?" She asked, half knowing the answer already.
James looked up quickly, his cheek rubbing off the back of the chair he'd chosen to sit in. Wincing in pain he said, "Well, it wasn't me, to tell you the truth, though I'm pretty bloody sure I know who it was." James grumbled, remembering what Sirius had just done to him. Stiffly wiping away a bit of wet hair that was clinging to his forehead, he asked, "Have you found any means to make the pain go away?"
Hearing Alice move, and fed up of lying in bed under a cool drizzle, Lily wrapped a bathrobe around herself, wincing as the skin on her shoulders rubbed against the fabric. She gingerly walked down the stairs, almost groaning as she saw who else was in the common room. She almost turned round and headed back up, but the incessant moaning and gossiping among the other girls was driving her insane, and she was fed up of counting the cracks in the ceiling above her bed.
James heard a groan and again looked over his shoulder quickly, immediately regretting it. "Owww..." he whined, then said to Lily, "Don't go, Evans, Alice and I could use some company."
"It wasn't me," James raised his arms, careful this time of the burn. "I'm going to skin Sirius alive as soon as I can, whether he did it or not." James grumbled a few choice words under his breath.

"When I find out who pranked the Slytherins I'm going to bloody skin them alive..." She grumbled, eyes closed.
