It's getting a bit boring, and I'll even go as far as to say annoying, that I see Sirius for a few minutes and then the next thing I see is his back. Gods, can't I even be near my best friend for a few seconds before he runs away from me? Sure, we've had our squabbles, all best friends do, but he's just so touchy lately and I kind of feel like it's my fault, even though my better sense tells me that it can't entirely be my fault. I'm lost at what to do, but I just want to talk to him. Hells, I sound like a girl.
Speaking of girls, I've asked Emmeline Vance to go to Hogsmeade with me. So what if it isn't a Hogsmeade weekend? She's very, very pretty, and for once, a pretty girl is not Potter worshipping me. As a matter of fact, we're actually planning a prank together, and Sirius should be in on it too. Emmeline has passed the 'you are so brilliant because you play pranks and that's funny' stage and is actually helping to plan one. At this point, I can't say that it gets much better than that. I can only hope with Emmeline that I won't have to go through the weekly torture of asking Evans to go to out with and her denying me. Oh well, it would be a win/win situation.
