Interesting post. (interesting, for serious...not scarcasticly)
It's true...now I see why you don't like kids. I used to not like kids for the same reason. I realized that my kids would never be like those kids...and that kinda helped me anyway.
Also, sweet website. I liked that ooze face you had goin' on...that's pretty gross. In a cool way of course.
Sarah's Thoughts...wow... quite a mix of topics!

it's wonderful that you have such an awesome relationship with Mary and your mom... too bad that it's not the same for your relationship with your dad. i had no idea about how you had to prettymuch raise your cousin. no wonder you have an aversion to having kids of your own. when you're forced to deal with consequences that are not of your own doing, that changes your perspective. that's sad that you see many flaws in the way that your sister and brother-in-law have been raising your niece. by the same token, it helps further solidify in your own mind now you will run your own family. but what a hard way to learn it. and because the role of parent was forced on you, your thinking has been unfortunately colored negatively. it's always easier to love kids when you know in the back of your mind that you can hand them back to the parents after you're done playing with them. a high schooler has no business having to raise a child when 1) they are not even your own and 2) you're dealing with all the things that come with being a teenager
