Could we perhaps stop calling it "Permabanned", then? 'Cause the name kinda implies permanence, you know?

We could have "Temp Bans" and, I dunno, "Bans" if we don't intend to stick to the forever part.

Yeah, kinda falls under my 'consistency & transparency' thing. Name things what they are. If they're not intended to be permanent, they shouldn't be called that. I'm ok with a few exceptions, but if it's to the point of 'often', perhaps the banning nomenclature needs revised.
